I don't know how much that has effected him, but I just hope he can make an impact in Game 5.

Is this a comment on the thread title?  ;)
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

No excuses.  Go out and fight.  Or go home.

Per Celticslife:

Quote
In the 142 minutes that Bradley has played in the series, the Celtics have allowed 0.968 points per possession, an elite number. When Bradley goes to the bench that number swells all the way up to 1.078 PPP which would rank among the worst in the league over the course of a full season.

Unfortunately Bradley has had the exact opposite effect on the C's offense, as Boston has averaged a meager 0.886 PPP when he's played (which would be the lowest total of all-time..for real) and 0.98 PPP when he's sitting on the bench.

Not surprising.  Avery is an elite defender and he probably always will be, barring major injury.

The trick is going to be finding personnel groupings that hide his offensive deficiencies.  Right now having him at PG forces other people to be the main ball handler because he's incapable of doing it.

It should be noted that our best offensive lineup last season had Avery at the 2 playing off the ball.  Though there's no doubt that Avery's hot streak shooting from outside in March and April played a big part in that, I think it's fair to say that in the right circumstances Avery can at least not be a drag on the team's offense.

He should have puked all over Raymond Felton and given him a stomach bug.

What bug did he have through the second half of the regular season?

edit: Also, I'm kind of tired of all that confidence crap. The team has asked him to play basketball. Do your job, or get off the pot. This is a pro sports team, not a kindergarten.

Also, this is crazy. I knew I give Bradley a lot of crap for being the world's worst offensive player, but that is just absurd and doesnt make me feel so bad for being so hard on him.

Given how many minutes Avery plays and how awful our offense has played as a whole this series I'm not surprised his PPP is that bad.

Just shows you how much the C's miss their primary ballhandler, forces guys into roles they're not used to handling. Its showing up in the crucible of the playoffs.

Why, in the Ainge/Doc era, have the Celtics consistently went without a true pg back-up for Rondo?

Unwilling to invest more than minimum contract salary slots for it.

T-Will could work out nicely, once he's given a full offseason with the team.

And I don't see T-Will as a true pg. More of a point/forward like Scottie Pippen was.

Honestly I've seen T-Will play for the Rockets/Nets, and was a fan of him in College. His athleticism, and basketball IQ is very uncanny, not to mention he can fill the 3 spot.

Haters doubting him in the playoffs, despite his lack of playoff experience in the first place should be duly noted.

I believe he still has potential to be a Russell Westbrook type of player. Driving hard to go in for the dunk, or giving and go as he elevates leaving no room or time, for defenders to get back if they double team.

I really hope we utilize his talents.

I see his defense to weak to guard any forwards in my opinion as of now.

I'd prefer he becomes a slashing, give and go, and pull up jumper type of guard. If anything, I pray that he receives more minutes.

If there is two players I want to see stay for next season, its Shavlik and Terrence. Crawford can stay, but he needs to learn the word defense when playing for the Celtics.
