Bill Simmons and those analysts were talking after the game that at least KG will retire and maybe Pierce.

They are pretty much implying that KG is definitely retiring after this year.

Is that true? I mean, is that confirmed?

I hope not.

He will not. He knows that he has ONE MORE STAND next year with Rondo back.

Don't KG.

It makes sense. KG is playing with bone spurs and it makes sense financially to let Pierce go this summer. If Pierce is gone, KG will retire. Green and Sullinger will likely be starters next year.

Maybe RR9 can convince him for one more last run?

And with those players, we might make the playoffs as 8 or 7 seed at best, if we do at all.

Yep. The rebuilding is starting. It's going to be rough. We likely won't make the playoffs, as Rondo won't be 100% for the 1st half of next season.

Don't KG.

Me either. I'd like to trade him ( if he lets us) for some young pieces.

He's done more than enough to be an all-time great. Much respect for KG. He brought back celtics pride after the dark years of the ML Carr, Pitino, Jim Obrien eras.
