I believe as well. Why? Because I am a fan of my team and I believe that Garnett & Pierce do not want to go out like this.
Towards the end of the game you could see the look on Kevin Garnett. He had his hands on his head and it appeared as if he was about to cry. His heart looked broken today.
A glimpse over at Pierce showed the same exact thing. Here was someone who is used to being the man, the superstar of the team, standing on the court looking absolutely defeated.
These two players are the captains of this team. They will look back at the game footage and see that they were not only out played, but out hustled by a team that wants it more.
Pierce & Garnett are going to give it their absolute all this Sunday. Tonight, they tried, but they DID NOT, and I repeat (or type), DID NOT leave it all on the court tonight.
There is another level that they can go to and it will be seen Sunday.
All it takes is winning one game to shift the momentum of a series. Remember that we thought we had the Miami Heat beat last year being up 3-2. We lost 4-2. Let the Knicks believe the same, lets take a game from them, win one in New York, and come home and win one more game at home to force game 7.
If you don't believe it will happen don't watch the game Sunday. Time to push this team to the level we know they can play at. I will be there Sunday. I will watch them win. Because I believe. I believe.
