I believe as well. Why? Because I am a fan of my team and I believe that Garnett & Pierce do not want to go out like this.

Towards the end of the game you could see the look on Kevin Garnett. He had his hands on his head and it appeared as if he was about to cry. His heart looked broken today.

A glimpse over at Pierce showed the same exact thing. Here was someone who is used to being the man, the superstar of the team, standing on the court looking absolutely defeated.

These two players are the captains of this team. They will look back at the game footage and see that they were not only out played, but out hustled by a team that wants it more.

Pierce & Garnett are going to give it their absolute all this Sunday. Tonight, they tried, but they DID NOT, and I repeat (or type), DID NOT leave it all on the court tonight.

There is another level that they can go to and it will be seen Sunday.

All it takes is winning one game to shift the momentum of a series. Remember that we thought we had the Miami Heat beat last year being up 3-2.  We lost 4-2. Let the Knicks believe the same, lets take a game from them, win one in New York, and come home and win one more game at home to force game 7.

If you don't believe it will happen don't watch the game Sunday. Time to push this team to the level we know they can play at. I will be there Sunday. I will watch them win. Because I believe. I believe.

I believe.

Stop making threads please
So people like you can create threads like "We need to blow it up" and "We don't need Rondo?"

I'm all for optimism (even tho I am generally not optimistic and very pessimistic at the moment) but I feel like these threads are just provoking anger and arguments

Of course i would love to say the Celtics could do it. But what has this team shown you without Rajon Rondo that they can not only come back in the series but even win a game?? Honestly. I love KG, Paul, And Jeff and I know they are determined to come back and win this but everyone else on this team is lost. There is no chemistry and nobody can get into the paint and kick out.

All the Knicks are doing is packing the paint and we try and beat them one on one. I just want to know what you have seen from this years team that will make me believe.

I know you can show me a KG video or a Paul Pierce video and it would get me going a little, But I think this season is over bud. I love the enthusiastic approach, but i just don't believe KG and Paul have the help they need.

Thanks man.

I don't think KG or Pierce can, want, or will let a road team end their careers. I they don't win Game 4, I'm done for the year but if they win, I see momentum. Of course, there's a reason teams down by three games are 0-103 but there's always a possibility. I won't give up until I see we've been eliminated.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

They sure don't, but unfortunately reality sets in. The team is missing their best player and the surrounding pieces aren't good enough to pick up the slack when KG and Pierce struggle.

Let the Knicks believe the same, lets take a game from them, win one in New York, and come home and win one more game at home to force game 7.

We've been a horrible road team all year. I just don't see that happening, especially when we can only score 31 points in one half.

What I have seen is a team that has NOT WANTED it. Yes they are professionals and are supposed to want it, but they have not come with that extra bit of energy.

One thing that drastically affects this is Doc Rivers and his silly starting line up changes and inability to take a risk when it is needed.

In order to win we need to put a bigger player on Felton. This can be done by placing Pierce on Felton, Green on Melo, Bradley on Shumps, and etc.

But the thing that is killing this team the most is not putting a steady hand in there to be our PG. Williams, as China Unready as he is, can be this player and seemed to calm the offense & defense down quite a bit when he was in the game.

What about Randolph? He is not going to save the series but a few extra hustle points is what the playoffs are all about.

There is evidence this can be fixed. Rivers & the players just have to make the effort to fix it.

Just a cheap way to get some TPs. Over the years here, I've seen a few guys come and go doing the same thing. Not my style but to each his own.
