I think the award must take the Pacers record into account and the media publicity bump he received along with the increase in production. The media always decides these things, right?
I would like to see the voting go back to the players.

I don't like the media choosing these things.

I'd like to see separate player and media awards because the differences would be fascinating to analyze.

I'd also like add more awards, like a Most Improved Defensive Player, the All-NBA Sixth Man First and Second teams and an All-Defensive Sixth Man team to reward bench players and good defense.
