It was pretty well officiated. Not perfect, but fair. Melo got some calls, Pierce got some calls. Not much to worry or complain about.
Celtics fan for life.

some missed calls on both sides.  wasn't lopsided enough to get upset over.

Did anyone else notice that the Knicks players were complaining after seemingly EVERY play?  Do Melo and J.R. Smith really get fouled every single time down the court?  It was so infuriating to watch!  The refs should T them up for this rather than giving them a call the next time down the court!

I'd prefer they do it every time, so we can get 5v4s or 5v3s on offense... like that Jeff Green buzzer beater at the end of the first ;D

I thought a lot of calls actually went the Celtics way. From what i saw. Some bad ones against though. Kenyon Martin big and 1 KG just swiped and missed. But all in all pretty well officiated.

All games are badly officiated. But today's game wasn't that putrid. It's the Celtics that lost the game.

It's when they call it all one sided that I get upset.

What if it's one-sided against the opponents? :)

I still don't like it.  If my team wins I want it to be because they play better and not because the refs give them the game.

I wouldn't like it, but I'm sure Celtics fans would complain a lot less :)

The Terry call to end the 3rd quarter really sticks out to me. The Celtics had all the momentum at that point and it swung it to the Knicks after that. Terry clearly had position for the rebound against Kidd. The Celtics presumable would have been up by 7 entering the 4th instead of the 3 that they actually were.

TP we have a winner.

A four point switch at that point of the game was HUGE!!! Not to talk about the confidence the free throws (I am not sure if the Knicks ` were  in the penalty at the time) may have given JET.

It does not take more than a bad call at the right time to swing a game.

I think we need to develop the mental strength to overcome a bad call, if we want to win a championship

What a ludicrous post. The bad call directly swung momentum in the opposite direction - you need points to overcome calls like that. I don't think the Celtics have ever needed "mental strength" come playoff time, they've got plenty. And who are you to say otherwise

I felt that the Knicks would have won regardless of the officiating.

I remember a couple of pathetic calls but what else is new. Overall it wasn't badly called. The celtics lost this themselves. This was a very winnable game and they played one of if not the worst second half in NBA playoff history. It truly was pathetic.

It felt like we were getting calls but on replays etc when you see them completely reach and grab at green and pierce it was pretty blatant. They were jst not playing good d
