Might as well start discussing the draft and what old folks home we are putting Jason Terry in. He was 0-5. A guy we pay to score. 0-5. Nice one Danny, nice one.

Kenyon Martin 10pts, 9rbs 2blks. Shavlik Randolph DNP. Nice one Danny, nice one.

Thought we were better without Rondo? Did you watch the fourth quarter? Yeah, you can zip it now. That is what a fourth quarter in the playoffs looks like. Without a true point guard you are toast.

By every account we could have won this game. We played great defense on the road but as usual we can not score anymore when it counts.

Pierce and KG just do not have that ability to put a team on their backs anymore. Terry woke up old last offseason and Doc was fooled into thinking that Terry still had it. Jeff Green just does not have the killer instinct. I think he was 1-5 in the second half.

This was a nice run but it is time to move on. Today certainly proved it.

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
I wasn't aware the NBA changed playoff series to be one-game long.

2 ridiculous threads:  This and the one that says we should own them.

Knicks have more than we have this year.  That doesn't mean we can't win.  Talent-wise it's reasonably close and depending upon the variable players it could go either way.  I'd guess Knicks in 5 or 6, but wouldn't be shocked if the C's knock the knicks off.

Game. Season. Over. Unnecessary.

  • GOT IT!!!
Knicks aren't good enough to close this team out in anything less than 6. I doubt they can do it in Boston either. An underdog C's team will still make them earn it.

geez louise. cb folks are prone to over reactions, but this thread may take the cake.

one game. closely played. in ny. celtics almost steal one. last year didnt the celtics go 0-2 against miami, then take the series to 7 games? and here are dire predictions that the series of dead, gone, over, kaput, over, finished, 못 이긴다...와 와 와.... :'(

sigh....oh ye of little faith and patience, but enormous over reaction. please take a breath and day before posting too much on the celtics' apocalypse.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

The game today was a perfect example of a game that is won by the team that will win the series. Boston should have won it. We did not for a myriad of reasons. Last year we would have won this game. This year we did not.

We can not score. We have no real point guard, we can not rebound. These are all things that we here agree on and lament daily. In the playoffs teams like that do not win.

A really worrying loss.

These are the types of games you need to get in the playoffs. When you get a good effort from your guys and have the game close late in the game and have a real chance at winning.

Being able to take advantage of those situations or failing to do so decide playoff series. You only get so many chances and today was a blown opportunity.

Hurt themselves today.

They're not getting #18 this yr, but I think they can still beat the Knicks. This is a series and they will adjust. They had HORRIBLE TO's and only 8 pts in the 4th and still were withing range of winning.

Now if they play like this the entire series that's a different story..Knicks in 5.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

What makes you think the Knicks aren't good enough?

Their defense?
Their scoring?
Their crunch time closing?

I dunno. They look like a complete team.

Last yr was frustrating too,in case you don't remember. Every time they had an opportunity to close a series early it got away from them...and Round 2 could have easily gone to Philly...oh and let's not forget the bench scoring 2 pts in the 4th last yr against Miami.

He's not going to look so "ridiculous" when the Knicks hand the C's a quick and painless first round exit
