The C's should do away with the charade, and just announce Pierce as the starting PG.  He's the only guy healthy that can play the position on offense properly.

Insane theory:

Doc had Bass on Melo so that Melo keeps scoring, this making him overconfident.  When the game is close in the fourth, Melo, still overconfident, will just iso vs. Pierce or Green, thus killing NY's offense and gifting Boston the win.

Maybe I should just shut up.

TP, I totally buy it.

T-Will would be nice on JR and Felton, not sure if he can defend Melo, but he did a nice job against Rudy Gay.
