Spurs could really give the heat trouble. The height they have is great, they spread you out which hurts the heat, and they have a PG that can get into the lane. I would not be surprised the least if the heat threw LeBron on Tony Parker right off the bat. Let Chalmers run around and chase danny Green. Thats what i think the heat should do. Would play to their strengths the most. But we'll see. Really hope Spurs win though. I used to hate the spurs and how they were so boring and were such a plan ol' team. Thats when i was 15. After years of watching how basketball should be played from teams like the spurs and Celtics, Man i can really respect them.

I really hope so.

The Heat seem to have a higher gear or two that they go to sometimes after they get a wakeup call (i.e. they lose) and they seem otherworldly.  Other times, they don't look much better than any of the many good teams LeBron has led in the past that have failed to win championships.

I never ever thought I'd see the day where TMac is in the finals..

However, its good to see the Spurs make the finals again, they really epitomise what I love about basketball.

San Antonio Spurs are on a 4-series winning streak in NBA Finals series.

Will that streak continue? Or will the potential-finals candidate Heat be the first ones to end that as LeBron hoists another ring?

The Grizzlies really disappointed me. Can't believe they couldn't get a single game. Congratulations to the Spurs. I think Spurs/Heat goes to 7, I'm not picking a winner.

Wow!! That was a stunning performance by the Spurs.  I watched most of that third quarter with my jaw dropped at the way the Spurs were balling, only to realize that the Grizzlies actually played them even.  I've got to tip my hat to the Memphis Grizzlies.  They play with fight and tenacity.  That was probably the most competitive sweep I've ever seen.

Man, the Spurs are in a zone.  I really hope they can keep it up against, presumably, the Heat in the finals.  Still pulling for the Pacers to pull off the miracle (it seems like that's what'll it'll take at this point) upset.

I feel just the same! As a matter of fact I thought the 2007 finals were boring and I was rooting for LeBron after how he took over the detroit series but after following the Cs closely over time, the spurs have won me over this season.

Spurs are gonna kill Miami.

Hmm I don't think so. I think it will go 6 or 7 games, with either team having the same chance of winning.

The Heat do have an extra gear or two, but with Wade's health issues and overal decline, I'm not sure they have that extra gear anymore. Ray looks a shadow of his former self, and Mike Miller is just a mascot now. They will need Birdman and Haslem to come up big against the Spurs fantastic frontcourt for 4 games, and I don't think they can do it. It will come down to if Bosh can step it up another gear himself.

Memphis has no offense.

If opposing teams can make Zach a non-factor, the Grizzlies have to depend on offensive juggernauts in Mike Conley, Tayshaun Prince and Tony Allen.

The Grizzlies miss Mayo and Gay big time.

Funny, they had a guy who can create his own offense but got rid of him because he was "overpaid".

That dude could be really of use right about now.
The problem was for whatever reason Gay had regressed steeply the past two years. His shooting just fell off a cliff.

I do think the trade was a mistake, especially with Randolph's age.

How do you rank TP these days? I was reading this comparison between TP and Rondo from 2011 http://www.celticsblog.com/2011/8/10/2356634/rajon-rondo-vs-tony-parker-who-ya-got

and thought that TP really has the edge when it comes to controlling the offense of a team.

Let's hope the spurs can finish it off and win the title.
