Well, we are talking about Ricky Ledo and his scoring abilites in the Draft thread, right.

I guess I found a team who could use him. The Grizzlies.

PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine

First basket so important in OT. Who gets it? Tim Duncan.

Brilliant play by the Spurs. Tony Parker with some heady play in the pick and roll. Tim Duncan making buckets and facilitating offense from high post. Splitter scoring inside.

Taking it to the Grizzlies here in overtime.

Duncan is amazing.  Still the epicenter of that franchise on both offense and defense.

Honestly it probably contributes to whether or not KG retires.  He's clearly a poor man's Tim Duncan... it's gotta be hard for KG to walk away while his peer is still dominating games and leading teams to the Finals.

Certainly among the most amazing if you have no appreciation for the "sweet science" of basketball. I'd prefer watching obsolete sports over a Duncan-lead Spurs team, any day. We pay for 40" verticals, not cornballs. Probably would've been an even more remarkable accountant.

Your avatar suggests that you don't mind if a player has a vert less than that :p

Is it just me, or does anyone else wonder why Tony Allen wasn't playing much in overtime, if at all?  I thought he did a good job on Parker.  Then it didn't seem like he was playing during the overtime and Parker was back to generating offense and causing havoc.  I know he missed a couple of free throws, but his D when he was guarding Parker was having an impact.

Spurs just double relentlessly off Tony Allen. It really kills their offense and spacing. Makes it very difficult to get the ball to,the post.

Eh except Duncan has had some down years in that regard since kg was a Celtic and going deep in the playoffs....with that said kg could never hold duncans Jock, why would it matter now?

I think they both look at each other and are driven out of rivalry somewhat.

Duncan looks fantastic this year, so much better than the past two years.

I am shocked that San Antonio is able to put Matt Bonner on Z-Bo for long stretches. Just shocked that Z-Bo isn't abusing them to the point of going away from that match up.

Z-Bo got a few fouls and offensive boards on Bonner, but that's it.

I think Memphis should go big on the wings more often and play Pondexter instead of TA. Slide Tayshaun down the SG position. Get that extra shooting on the floor and another matchup problem for San Antonio to deal with at SG with Tayshaun's post game.

Well, so long as that injury/knock Tayshaun suffered isn't too bad.

Move away from those Bayless/Conley backcourts and some of those units where TA's lack of shooting is holding them back.
