LeBron James, the best and most athletic player on the planet, the current league MVP and a dominant scorer, finished with a triple double and shot only four free throws in a 4 point loss.

Maybe all of the LeBron James Conspiracy Theorists will calm down for at least a game or two?  Let's hope we can all just enjoy the series instead of making conspiracies out of thin air.

Anyway, great win for the Spurs without playing an overwhelming game.  The Spurs can replicate this type of performance three more times and win this series.

If the Pacers series didn't stop it, nothing that happens here will.

This is shaping up to be a brilliant series.  Spurs had every chance to drop that game but they kept executing and scrapping, stayed within striking distance and then rolled over them in the 4th.  Finally we get to see the Heat matched up against a truly great opponent.

So are Wade and Bosh really that much better right now than '07 Larry Hughes and Big Z?

Fun fact: Larry Hughes scored a total of 2 points in the 2007 NBA Finals.  He missed Game 3 and Game 4 due to injury and shot a combined 1-10 in Game 1 and Game 2 (while contributing little else).  Larry Hughes also averaged 7 PPG in the Conference Finals.

So to answer your question, yes.  Wade and Bosh haven't been impressive in the playoffs, but they are really that much better than '07 Larry Hughes and Big Z.

Big Rondo fan here but I hope he's home watching and taking notes on how to balance being a facilitator and a scorer.

The only way Boston is a contender is if rondo is our number one scoring option like Parker is for SA. Pierce can't be a number one option but he's a very good number two option with green and kg as your third and fourth.

And now for my third most favorite thing to do in life....watch a dejected heat presser.
Third. Nice. 1 = Celtics win presser, 2 = Lakers loss presser?

Or are we talking other activities as well? ;)

Regardless, GO SPURS!!!

Haha, I'll say yes, I don't want to get banned.

Okay, I didn't know that about Hughes, but at least considering stats up until the Finals, the difference isn't huge.

Big Z was definitely better than Bosh.

The Heat actually don't have a third big who's as productive as Drew Gooden.  Chris Andersen, maybe.  Haslem on a good day.

To compare Rondo with Parker is the same like comparing Maradona with David Bechkam

Totally agreed. I'd much rather party with Maradona.
