So are Wade and Bosh really that much better right now than '07 Larry Hughes and Big Z?
Fun fact: Larry Hughes scored a total of 2 points in the 2007 NBA Finals. He missed Game 3 and Game 4 due to injury and shot a combined 1-10 in Game 1 and Game 2 (while contributing little else). Larry Hughes also averaged 7 PPG in the Conference Finals.
So to answer your question, yes. Wade and Bosh haven't been impressive in the playoffs, but they are really that much better than '07 Larry Hughes and Big Z.
Okay, I didn't know that about Hughes, but at least considering stats up until the Finals, the difference isn't huge.
Big Z was definitely better than Bosh.
The Heat actually don't have a third big who's as productive as Drew Gooden. Chris Andersen, maybe. Haslem on a good day.
