It's been "it" for a while now.

The injuries, age of the best players, and lack of talent outside of the top 5 have finally caught up with the team.

I just want this disappointing season to be over.

Agreed 100%
Agreed. Very disappointing that we let KG and Pierce go without anything in return

If we got routed by the Nets, there is no way we can get by the Knicks. Tough to stop the Knicks pouring down about ELEVEN 3-pointers every single game.

I guess that little 7-game winning streak this season was a fluke. I miss Rondo!

I rarely post about/or during games because when we lose there is always nonsense and people panicking immediately regular season and playoffs are different, if the Celtics get blown out by Knicks in the 1st game in the playoffs that is when you should get worried, now really is not the time to panick

Totally agree with you ronaldo! TP!

I'm disappointed and saddened by all these pessimistic remarks!

it is called taking off the green and white glasses and calling a spade a spade.  look at the trend. the evidence is there for you.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

The baseball season has started.  There's always hockey if you're into that.

Can't say I'm into either.  It's a shame the draft is so boring this season.  I can usually get excited about that.

But I am looking forward to some of the playoff matchups in the Western Conference.  That should provide us with some very exciting basketball.

Maybe you'll be able to get back into it once we beat the Knicks.

"Is this it"?

Yup. It is.

Get out the butter, we are toast.

I'd like apple jelly on mine as well

  • GOT IT!!!
Players were injured, there wasn't much motivation, new players were getting adjusted.

I'm slightly annoyed by how losing to a playoff team always seems to lead to a discussion about a first-round exit. If we won against every playoff team, we wouldn't be here today.  ::)

It's not just the playoff teams though. They are struggling to beat lottery teams. I don't like the body language of the team.

I always expect them to go out like warriors but it feels different. Hope I'm wrong...

We haven't been able to beat lottery teams for years....

So weird.

So I take it your under the assumption they are saving it for the playoffs like year's past?

Nope.

Playoffs are a different animal.

Whoever we play can try to sleep on us if they want to......but once the playoffs start...

Time to hunt.

Majority of my friends are Knicks fans and not one of them want to see us in the first round. My inebriated friend tonight: "Not gonna lie, still don't wanna see the Cs. Fight dumb hard. Would prob beat us with Rondo."

Win or lose, we're going out fighting. Focus on the positive, even if that's the only one...
