I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Seth Curry have a better career than several of the guys in front of him.  He'll never defend at a high level, be he will put in the effort and he's an NBA-caliber shooter.  Excellent second round pick in my opinion.

I know almost all of the names on this list at least in passing, but I'm not familiar with Allen Cabbe.  What kind of player is he?

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Guy everyone is forgetting, who has draft eligibility: Glen Rice Jr. He got dismissed from G-Tech last year but was recently named a starter in the D-League, and is playing pretty well. He's not going to supplant McLamore, Smart, or Oladipo, but he's within the top 5 SG's in the draft.

Another guy you missed CFAN, Dario Saric, point forward from Croatia. He's this years' Evan Fournier, or Nikola Mirotic, the stash-away prospect nobody quite has a bead on. I don't know diddly about him, but scouts seem excited and think he's got lottery talent. 6'10 and only 19, so..

Very good rankings. I personally think you have Crabbe, McGary and the foreign SFs too high but, hey, that's just my preference. I like Burke over Smart as well.

Why did you choose to rank Giannis Adetokunbo up there but not Dario Saric?

As of 4/2, he's in, allegedly. Where did you get the update from?

Quote from: ESPN
Apr 2 Update: Saric will declare for the 2013 NBA draft, according to sources, and a number of teams are looking at him as a potential sleeper in the draft. With so many top young players faltering this season, Saric is considered someone who might be a safer bet to draft and stash for a few years.

ADDITIONAL UPDATE/EDIT (THAT SAYS IM STEWPIT):

Quote from: @yugobasket on 4/6/13
Croatian talent Dario Šarić announced that he won't declare himself for #NBAdraft this year, but will focus on improving his game at home.

3. Mason Plumlee (solid running PF)
4. James McAdoo
5. Tony Mitchell (super athlete, questionable skill)
6. Mouhammadou Jaiteh (raw french big man)
7. Ryan Kelly (matt bonner 2.0)

C
1. Nerlens Noel (elite defensive big, larry sander like)
2. Alex Len (ideal size athleticism lacks consistency)
3. Mitch McGary (same height/Length as horford)
4. Kelly Olynyk (solid offensive center)

8. Steve Adams (very raw defensive big man)
9. Jeff Withey (great shot blocker, Greg Steimsma 2.0?)
10.  Mike Muscala (well rounded center)

Not bad. My top 5 ranking for each position. ** = wildcard

PG
1. CJ Mcollum - not a pure pg but a complete combo guard. Prob the most clutch player in this draft
2. Trey Burke - not an elite athlete, but knows how to lead a team. Above avg passing, shooting, penetrator
3. Marcus Smart - NBA Body + potential. Poor shooter
4. MCW - nice athlete + 6'6 body + passing skills. Poor shooter
5. Nate Wolters - high BBIQ , scorer, shooter, passer.
** Peyton Siva - Ugly stats, but something about this kid oozes confidence. No fear, panic

SG (weakest position of the draft)
1. Mclemore -  Nice shooter and athlete. Weak handles and can't create own shot
2. Victor Oladipo - Electric player. Avg iq and mediocre shooter.
3. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope  - Scoring skills + defense. Sometimes get trigger happy
4. Jamaal Franklin - All around SG that can rebound. Like the PP of sg's. Can't shoot that great and depends on right hand too much
5. Archie Goodwin - Streaky scorer. Like Jordan Crawford
** Glen Rice Jr. - All around talent. dumb move with gun incident

SF
1. Otto Porter - All around forward.  Not as athletic version of jeff green
2. Shabaz Muhammad - Crafty, athletic, agressive. Needs a better jump shot. Not ideal sf height
3. Giannis Adetokoubo - 6'10 with guard like ball handling and passing. Most potential. Unknown
4. Mcdermott - Scoring machine. Go to guy. Motor. Avg defense
5. Glen Robinson 3 - An elite Athlete + defense. Lacks handles, shooting
** Andre Roberson - Ultra athletic sf that rebounds like a pf. Lack of go to offensive moves

PF
1. Noel - Cat like reflexes. Shot blocking machine. Lack of offensive game
2. Bennett - next coming of Larry Johnson? Manchild with inside and outside game. Lacks focus
3. Cody Zeller - All around game. Lacks toughness and needs to get stronger
4. Kelly Olynyk - Crafty offensively. Shoots at high percentage. Avg college defender
5. Mason Plumlee - An Athlete, good passer and plays solid defense. Lacks high end offensive skills
** Isiah Austin - Deadly combo of height and skills. But thin as a toothpick.

C
1. Dieng - Complimentary offensive player and anchor on the defensive end. Blocks shots, rebounds, passes at a high level. Has surprising scoring skills. Downside is age
2. Alex Len - The most talented Center, with center body with pf like reflexes. Lack of consistency
3. Mitch Mcgary - Strong and underrated quickness. Crashes the board , has a strong passing game and decent jump shot. Struggles against length + foul prone
4. Jeff Withey - Shot blocking machine. Rebounds and passes pretty good. Lacks offensive skills and needs more strength
5. Gobert - Shot blocker and rebounder. Nice length/quickness. Everything else is avg/underdeveloped
** Muscala - 5 tool Center. Needs to strengthen up and unknown as to how he will fare against better competition

Thanks for thelkist and work to make it.  TPs all around.  :)

Considering the celtics probable draft position and the talent level of this draft, I would be very happy if they get McCollum. A big time scorer, good combo guard, smart player.

http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/C.J.-McCollum-5860/

He is a bit short, but I think if the celtics put him in with rondo and Bradley he would help make very good guard rotation for the team.
