idc what happens this season, I am getting more and more excited for next season. Rondo will be back, Sully will be back.

Since Rondo's injury, everyone has been stepping up. If they gel during the summer and into training camp, this team will be dangerous. People always say our window has closed, but with Jeff Green emerging into a top 5 SF, and Sullinger, Bradley and Courtney Lee's pitbull defense, I am excited for next season!

Go Green or go home!

Sometimes I feel the same way, but I'm starting to feel a bit like a Cubs fan: Next year we'll get 'em, next year we'll be healthy! And then it doesn't happen. Again.

Boston could start camp in October 100% healthy and by December would have two guys out for the season and another one or two on the shelf for lesser (but still significant) periods of time. I love the young guys on this team, but Bradley's had major surgery on both shoulders, Danny's said that Sully's surgery will totally correct his back problem—but I'll believe it when I see it, and Rondo's torn up his knee. I hope for the best, but I'm expecting problems.

as a fan, I could only be optimistic than pessimistic. Being optimistic enables me to always look forward for the future. It gives me a reason to cheer for. Even if we had a Bobcat like season, I would still cheer for the team, looking forward for a good draft or trade for the future. :)

I don't know what PP and Kg is doing to these players but more often than not they get the guys with the tools to actually use them! I mean, its Green, Perk, AB, RR... etc! It's like they have a magic wand, they seem to be some of the best ego boosting guys in the league! All the players I named give HUGE credit to their play lifting because KG and PP talk them up/boost their confidence! I mean, did you see PP almost jump into Shav's body when he had all those rebounds??? It wasn't like it was a playoff game or anything but he was happier than Shav was!! Or when Green beat the Cavs on that buzzer beater... PP again almost leaves his body to jump into Green's... seriously, if you check out the pics it's like Green is thinking, "this guy is crazy"... but I bet it boosts him up even more! It's like the shoes with the air pump things (Lord knows I don't know shoes hahaa), PP and KG pumps ego into these guys brain (makes them walk with their chest forward)... they become better players b/c of it!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

That's one of the main reasons that titles are so rare and should be savored when they come.

Well, that would be great.  Never gonna happen though.

This is just KG 'pumping his tires', nothing more.

I wish KG's knee would agree with KG for once >:(

Me too...
your name is so odd and funny man lol

Jeff Green already is a top five player in the game.

He just doesn't know that he is.  I just think he's kind of a bone head. Not even trying to be mean. He's aloof. He really could be awesome, If he was just a little more p---ed off all the time. I would really give a grand towards a miracle pill that would make him mean and nasty.

One of the "best ever" isn't going to happen, unless you define that phrase very, very broadly.

yeah but you didn't even think JG would amount to what he's become now, so who knows what that even means

One of the best ever?  I love KG so much but I completely disagree with this statement.  He's not even close to one of the best NOW.

Stars are born in the playoffs. If green wants to be a star he needs to perform like a star when it matters most.

I really don't get why people have such a hard time understanding this.  Even just playing pick up, if you pass to the worst guy on your team a couple of times and compliment them once on a nice rebound or pass, you would be suprised the defensive commitment you can get out of them.

I especially don't see "the Kobe treatment" ever working as a legit motivational tactic in the pros.  There is no greater hindrence to winning than dejected teammates and low morale. I am really looking forward to them missing the playoffs and their lottery pick going to the Suns this year.  Trash talking your own team only serves your own ego, while giving people confidence can really make a dramatic difference.

What is he now?

He is a guy who since the all star break is averaging 17.7 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 2.8 APG, 1.2 BPG, on 50.7 FG% and 43.3%  on threes.  In 7 consecutive starts he's averaging 21.5 PPG, 6.1 RPG, 3.7 APG, 1.3 BPG, 53 FG%, 50% on threes.   Of course there is a chance he won't continue this type of play, but to me he is trending to at least a borderline all star as he starts to enter the prime of his career, and somehow who is gaining confidence starting to play out of the shadows of Durant earlier in his career(where they really don't play team ball), Pierce now, not to mention other vets when got him.

So I'd say now he is much better than mediocre than some people have claimed he would always be.

Does "borderline all-star" and "better than mediocre" project to "one of the best ever"?

His stats since the break are more than all star worthy. If he can sustain this for the first half the year next year I think he's closer to a lock than borderline

Edit: but definitely no where near one of the best of all time
Practice? Whatchu talkin about practice?
