Slightly off topic, but do you think any Celtics will get a 5x5? (5 in each category, typically pts/ast/reb/stl/blk)

It's only been done 15 times since 1986.  Six of those times were by Hakeem!

The only Celtic who has done at least 4 in each category is Antoine Walker.

Steals and blocks are the hardest part, so the NBA players since 2000-2001 who have had 5 of each in a game are Batum, Camby, Okafur, Josh Smith, and Tinsley once, Dwight Howard twice, AK thrice, and Ben Wallace four times.  So, Josh Smith to the Celtics seems like the best opportunity for a Celtic to do that anytime soon.

Wow. Unreal. Hakeem certainly was the dream.

Somewhat unexpected IMO but if you take out blocks and go with 5+ points/rebs/assists/stls the runaway leader since 85-86 is ...

Alvin Robertson with 75, the next highest is Pippen with 56. None of the current players look like they'll catch him, the highest total aside from Kidd is CP3 with 32.

Alvin Robertson? ;D Alvin who?

Pretty interesting, TP! I love NBA trivia. Gotta keep it in my head... love to know random facts.

For the record, I know who he is, just a little surprised at his numbers.

For another guy who put up crazy numbers but who has been forgotten about by history...  what about Fat Lever?  He had something like 16 triple-doubles in '87, and 42 for his career.  He benefited from Denver's fast pace, but for a guy who probably 75% of this blog has never heard of, it's impressive.

Well when I was a kid I used to love getting his bball card purely for his amazing name. Apparently didn't check out his stats on the back too often although in recent years I have noticed him having some impressive numbers
