Nate Robinson.

Doesn't get a lot of buzz as one of those 'how could we have traded this guy' but this season in particular we could really use him.

Basically he's a better version of Jason Terry, and if Jason Terry was a better version of Jason Terry we wouldn't have had to take on Jordan Crawford to take some of his minutes.

Don't really blame Danny for trading him when he did, Robinson kind of looked cooked, but I do wish he would've considered bring him back this summer for the minimum.

But of course hindsight is 20/20

I agree. talking to bulls fans, they love nate and he's been contributing a lot of scoring punch for them.

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
Rondo had been injured pretty much all season (10/11), and then his backups (West and Bradley) were also injured, which meant Nate had to handle the PG duties, along with Pierce playing point-forward.

I though Nate did an admirable job that year, but I'm fairly certain Doc hated him.  When he was traded, it was more as filler because Danny wanted Green (actually, he wanted Harden) and because since we had to give up Perk (our only truly healthy center at the time) we needed a big back (turned out to be Krstic).

I do agree, though.  Nate has been brilliant for Chicago this year.

Agreed with everything said above.

Again, everythings hindsight b/c Jet's been a real disappointment this year. But I thought Nate's time w/ Golden State showed that he could've played the role they acquired Terry for.

While Nate is doing a decent job with the Bulls, he was only so so with us.

That's a little 'what have you done lately for me' though, no?

Guy had a rough last season w/ us, but he also won us at least two playoff games.

I thought Nate played well for us that last season.  I distinctly remember one game vs. Atlanta on TNT where he single-handedly won us the game.

And yeah, Game 6 vs. Orlando and Game 4 vs. LA (along with Big Baby) Nate played a huge role.

I've always thought that Shelden Williams would have been better if he had been brought back for another year at the minimum.  I think the Celtics should have more third-string veterans for the minimum to provide continuity for the bench.

TA, but he wanted a bigger role. Good for him.

Perk, but he thought he deserved more money and he got it. Good for him.

Nate was having a so so season, but he was trying hard on D. Sad to see Perk and him go.

I don't think any of those would save our season, so while I miss them, the Celtics probably don't.

Nenad Krstic, though, could give the Celtics good minutes now that he's healthy and dominating the Euroleague bigmen. I wouldn't be against getting him next season on a reasonable deal.

Big Al, Krstic, Semih, Steimsma.  Perk's only underrated by some unappreciative people.

BBD and Powe too probably.

nate is about on par with crawford, same sort of can't believe they shot that ball, wait it went in
and nate as a celtic was more out of control than crawford as a celtic
