Who do you respect more? Kobe or LeBron?

He respects the history of the game and the Celtics....Lebron is a whiny baby who without his brute strength, size and athleticism doesn't have half the game.

Kobe is out of this world, the mentality, the toughness, the drive, just compare it with last two years of lebron in cavs uniform.

Respect?  I guess this is asking who I regard higher or admire more as an athlete. 

While I have seen a player (Jordan) do what Kobe does and do it just a bit better, I have never seen quite the same basketball player as Lebron before.  In that sense I have slightly higher regard for Lebron's skills.  But we are talking about 2 of the greatest ever and respect for their skills should be pretty close to equal. 

If analysis involves work traits like work ethic, team camaraderie, competitiveness, I'd say Kobe wins on competitiveness, Lebron wins on camaraderie, and they are probably equal with regard to work ethic. 

As far as personal likability goes, I despise Kobe and dislike Lebron.

I respect Kobe more from a warrior and champion aspect. However I respect Lebron's game much much more today.

I would rather play Kobe anyday over playing Lebron.

Lebron and it isn't even close.  Lebron is a much better teammate, a much better all around player, and off the court Kobe makes Lebron look like Mother Teresa.

Kobe pushed Shaq out of LA because the team wasn't all about Kobe.




Not to mention the whole Colorado incident.  That alone took away my respect for Kobe.
