No way is Wall a top 5 PG.  He's not even top 10.

Kyrie Irving
Russell Westbrook
Rajon Rondo
Deron Williams
Stephen Curry
Derrick Rose
Ty Lawson
Tony Parker
Jrue Holiday
Damian Lillard

All of these guys are better than Wall in my opinion.  I'm waffling about whether I want to include Jeff Teague in that list as well.

apropos of nothing, I dare you to try to count how many steps he took on the drive of the game after picking up his dribble!

I count three - picks it up with right foot just having landed, left right left jump. 

Promising game from Wall, but I have a hard time putting him in the top 15 PGs, let alone top 5.

He's not top 5 yet....

However, he's been the best PG in the NBA the past month...

He needs to do it for a longer time though.

IF John Wall gets a consistent jumper....he'll be the LeBron of PGs.

He's like a perfect mix of Westrbrook/Rondo when the jumper is going.

However, his jumper has been mostly bad.....and he didnt have the benefit of growing in a great environment like Rondo did.

There are three things going for John Wall:

1.) He is fun to watch, so even if your team sucks it is still great to follow them

2.) Even though he probably isn't even a top 15 PG production wise over a season, he will bring in an asset in a trade as if he were a top 10 PG. 

3.) Starting next year he gets you on national TV more and can sell tickets & merchandise

I think that those sort of "meta", non-basketball reasons put him into consideration for top ten most valuable PGs, even if Ty Lawson or Damien Lillard are actually more productive in reality.

/I got his shoes to play ball in because they went on a crazy sale last year since he still hadn't really come out yet.  They look flashy but I keep spraining my "pointer" toe. Second toe?  I don't know how to refer to it.  The one next to your big toe.  Anyways don't get them

I agree with Atzar, though. All of those point guards are better than Wall. They are all in the upper tier, where as Wall isn't even unanimously the best player in his own tier:

I think Wall is better than Lillard. I'd probably put George Hill above him as well.

Too many good PGs in this league but in five years, he should be up there with Kyrie and Damian.
