There are three things going for John Wall:
1.) He is fun to watch, so even if your team sucks it is still great to follow them
2.) Even though he probably isn't even a top 15 PG production wise over a season, he will bring in an asset in a trade as if he were a top 10 PG.
3.) Starting next year he gets you on national TV more and can sell tickets & merchandise
I think that those sort of "meta", non-basketball reasons put him into consideration for top ten most valuable PGs, even if Ty Lawson or Damien Lillard are actually more productive in reality.
/I got his shoes to play ball in because they went on a crazy sale last year since he still hadn't really come out yet. They look flashy but I keep spraining my "pointer" toe. Second toe? I don't know how to refer to it. The one next to your big toe. Anyways don't get them
