You folks are HILARIOUS, lol....

But seriously I'm not worried about what MIA has....I'm optimistic about what WE have.

Sure..LeBron "could" go off again...BUT:

so could Super 8:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Rsy_bfaZ_I

Super 8 also had a GREAT showing in the game where Rondo 1st missed, too:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DcLdxZXbMs

He had an efficient 17 pts in that game and was KEY for us in victory.

He was also key vs our Lakers victory - our 1st HOME win vs the Lakers since 07-08.

Despite some of the Debbie Downers, Negative Nancies, here, I absolutely LOVE our opportunity this post-season.

In 09-10, we'd beaten the Lakers if it weren't for Dancing Joey:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17YKrYzxEf8

In 10-11, we had a good shot if not for Dwayne "Kung-Fu Fighting" Wade.

In 11-12, we were depleted with injuries..

The Boston Celtics are BOUND to break through once again. I'm on this ship until it hits bottom....I'll give my life preserver to YOU folks.

I'm staying. :)

Of cause NO! Because of 2 reasons
1. We never give up even in such difficult situation
2. Germans never bombed Pearl Harbor

someone needs to rent Animal House (or at least find my quote on youtube)

Skip the quote, rent the movie.

I would advise against that.

What good does it do to be done?

Watch each game and hope for miracles.  This team is capable of giving us some excitement in the playoffs.  Capable of making the games worth watching.  That's something.

Those who are of the "championship or nothing" mindset can hope for next year if they want, but I will enjoy seeing this team give all they've got, and perhaps provide us a few thrills and surprises along the way.

Marmalard?...Dead.   Neidermeyer?...Dead.   Wade, James and Bosh?...

Otis Day and the Nights, my man...(do you mind if we dance with your dates?)

And yes, the 2012-2013 Celtics are in big trouble.  Kg could be fine in a week or at his age and mileage, it could nag him for months (think David Ortiz).

  • Another undersized Celtic...
As long as we stay in the seven spot, we can get to the second round. When the playoffs start, its a different season, and hopefully a couple of our new guys can develop some chemistry with the vets (read: TWill and Crawford).
Oh and maybe Jason Terry will show up.
I think we're in decent position--not to win a championship, but to at least get out of the first round.

Seeing the 'Mighty' Lakers stumble (and hopefully miss the playoffs) somehow eases the pain.. At least we have injuries to blame!  ;D

I would be more disappointed, but I have to keep in mind just how old that movie is (and just how old I am).  I don't think people know who JIM Belushi is anymore, never mind John.
