Lol....exactly. I hate what injuries have done to our season, but as much as I drink the green kool-aid, I am a realist.  No way in hades are we gonna even come close to beating Miami in a series.

Lol yeah, however good some of you THINK this celtics team is, I can promise you miami is better.

I know you guys watch celtics games and sometimes you see those games where you're all like, hey!!

I felt like (with Kg and Lee), we had the talent to at least win2 or 3 games.
For the other 1 or 2 games, we'd need GREAT coaching and a bit of a miracle.

Now you have the guy who guards Mario Chalmers out (who can easily just sit at the 3 line and make our lives miserable) and the guy who body's up Bosh out (smh)...I'm just unsure

but look...that's even if we get far enough (or we could drop to 8th) to get the Heatles. Right now we'd have to play the Pacers. I'm just...unsure lol smh

Yeah I agree with others here.

It's gotten to the point where I am also hoping for the 8th seed.

That way we can hurry up, play Miami and find out once and for all where we stand. I don't like our chances, but I'd rather play the best and lose in the first round, then beat an average team in round 1 and/or 2, then play Miami, lose and get our hopes crushed (see last year.)

MIA's margin of error for success this year depends on ALL hands being on deck...and even THEN, they've struggled vs The Boston Celtics (minus Rondo).

As good as LeBron is playing this year, he won't do another game 6....he'll have his hands full chasing around Pierce AND Jeff Green this time.

Think about it...THIS team, BOS, has given MIA their TOUGHEST challenge this year - MINUS Rajon.

Well, Lebron could certainly go off for another 45 points  like he did in game 6 last year, at any time. Unfortunately, he is that good that he can singlehandedly beat another team.

But I do agree in the sense that the Celts stand as good a chance as anyone to beat Miami.

I think we'll get the 7th seed. That's good for Wyc and Co, because there's a better chance to play something like 7-8 games at home. Could we beat Indy/NKY to face the Heat in the ECF? Not sure. But there's a chance.

If we have to face the Three Stooges in the first round, I don't think we stand a chance. They hate us, the media loves them, and Stern/refs are their bigger fans. But I'll still watch the games and hope we can beat them, and I'm proud of this team's courage and will to overcome everything and beat the Heat.

Either way, I think this isn't our last hurrah. Next year with almost healthy Rondo and Sully, and completely recovered Green and Avery, we can be a better team. This team isn't done.
