Crawford is simple. Every shot is a good shot. He should not be compared to Barbosa because Barbosa is mostly insanely aggressive penetrating. Barbosa seems to take good shots from deep.  Crawford will shoot from any spot in any position.

Lol! I know some dudes I play in the Y that has the same mentality. Haha.

Thing is, he can get them to go in. (see self-alley-oop off Korver) (see long turnaround fadeaway three-pointers)

The Celtics have a ton of players that can shoot but aren't great at creating their own offense (Avery Bradley, Jason Terry, Brandon Bass, even KG a little). Crawford is the guy you want when the shot click is winding down and the C's can no longer kick it around the perimeter. He's like a very, very poor man's Kobe Bryant. He's great at BS shots. And he's pretty good against a tough defensive lineup where it's hard to get shots.

Surprised no one has made a George Gervin comparison yet.

I like that comparison. Very poor man's Kobe, can hit bad shots.

A guy who thinks he is better than  and tries to play like MJ but is not. Fun to watch but needs to learn to play within himself. A touch crazy.
Practice? Whatchu talkin about practice?

We need to stop the whole "poor man's" thing.

Kobe has a clue about what shots he can hit. Crawford doesn't.

I have always found Crawford entertaining, but he is a bit delusional.

He has a unique medical condition that does not allow him to distinguish between 5 and 20 seconds, which explains why he shoots the ball with 20 seconds on the shot clock every time he touches the ball.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Pointing to shots that went in means nothing. Pretty much everyone who has played in the NBA has had a shot go in.

But he makes broken shots in way more than regular players. That's an asset!

Congratulations, you're literate.

There are two reasons Crawford shoots a terrible percentage:

1.  He takes a large volume of ridiculous, god-awful shots

2.  He doesn't have the speed and quickness to create space and get by defenders, thus forcing him to take the dreaded long three or dreaded midrange jumper.
