That little loop around reverse was sweeeet!

...but then there were a few in traffic three pointers. Doc Rivers has the best "Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. was that" face of anybody ever - and we had a chance to see it on several Jordan Crawford plays last night.

Tell me your thoughts on the man with the long arms, and the short conscience.

Well Doc certainly trusts him. There was a 3-5 minute stretch right before that ridiculous layup where he basically screwed up everything he touched. But Doc let him play - against the heat nonetheless - and then the layup happened, along with some other nice shots.

I think his ceiling is higher than Barbossa, but who knows. Glad he was brought in with enough time to get (at least moderately) familiar with the playbook before the postseason

CelticsHub's player grade guy described him best.

He has a "feast or famine approach" to basketball.

He plays with a lot of risk, like Rondo does at times (but with scoring instead of passing).

It might just be me but I feel like he's been trying to mitigate his downside risk a lot since he joined the team.

He's also been racking up assists, perhaps thanks to his herky jerky, hyper aggressive philosophy. This I find quite impressive due to his reputation as a gunner.

Love him or hate him. I personally quite like his fearlessness.

He reminds me a ton of Nate Robinson, but obviously more abilities scoring wise due to the 7 some odd inches he has on Nate the Great.

If he can be used in the playoffs in small doses, containing his scoring and limiting his turnovers (that giveaway after rebounding the ball that turned into a Heat bucket still stings) then he'll be valuable.

Plus he's only 24.

There's a reason why some people refer to him as a poor man's JR Smith.  He's going to do some great things and some horrible things and you just have to hope it averages to a net positive.

as jojo said (great name by the way)
he's only 24 , he can score but i've been impressed with his passing, give him rest of this year and next and i think he is smart enough to alter his game and become an offensive weapon off the bench
not sure if he is sort of a posey guy though, play well for celtics on short contract and then go to highest bidder?  i'd consider him a keeper, nice size, good bench guy

I wish I could explain why I like his game, but I can't.

There's only 2 things that are gonna happen when you put him on the floor, good or bad, but sometimes he can give you good and bad in the stretch of 2 minutes, which is mind boggling.

Weird Player. Gives me a heart attack whenever he touches the ball. But I like him.

No one said he's explainable ;)
I like his stahl. (style) How can you even plan for him?

The commentator last night "Crawford.... completely out of control, draws the foul" Story of his career. (now let's just hope he makes the shots)

Crawford is simple. Every shot is a good shot. He should not be compared to Barbosa because Barbosa is mostly insanely aggressive penetrating. Barbosa seems to take good shots from deep.  Crawford will shoot from any spot in any position.

I remember a game a while back where Crawford had a 1 on 3 fastbreak. This is normally a good time to stop the ball, wait for your teammates to catch up, and run a set. But Crawford instead chose to take it to the rack against 3 defenders. He drove right, and threw up a fade away which kissed off the backboard and went in. This was a very dumb play, but it worked. I think his style is exactly that. I think he is a reckless player who takes unnecessary shots/risks, but a lot of the time, believe it or not, it actually works. I'm always looking to see what this guy will do next.

Streaky player within the game but usually produces ok stats game after game. But his crazy play at times is too much to handle. Also turnover prone.

I actually wouldn't mind if he started a game, playing 30 min. I think he will go 3 and 9 at first and then 6 for 9 after for a very good 9-15

Last night the behind the back laybup was def rondoesque.  When he also shot the longer three in, was pretty gutsy.
