I think
Mainly to get out of getting fined for sitting Kevin (see Spurs) and also to get Shav and DJ some playing time.

I liked Shav on the boards and DJ seems to have a nice jumper. They seem to be playing tons better with the practice and home crowd.

Don't think Doc cares too much about the story line stuff. As he shouldn't.
Our seeding is directly related to numbers (seeds) 3-8. Can't do too much about #1.

You're reading too much into this. KG is out because hes hurt and sick, that's it. Also, yeah its about seeds 3-8 but we have to keep winning to put ourselves in position to get the best seed we can. Every game is important from here on out.

i agree though
but like i said in the other thread, Doc doesn't seem to be taking these games too seriously

i mean KG has never played hurt or sick before? Will the guy even be on the bench?

In a weird way I'm happy about this. No one will expect the C's to get a win, and if they do it'll be great for morale. It could also be a great opportunity for a breakout game from, e.g., Green or someone else.

Maybe it's better KG doesn't play. Gives Miami one less game to figure out how to play against this new-look Boston team without Rajon Rondo.
