You know what else fuels Edelman's fire? Late nights on the dance floor.

Allegedly.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Crappy weather forecast for tomorrow night's game.

Low 40s, 20 mph winds, and rain.

Slight edge to the Pats with the power running game under those conditions.

any bad conditions are good news against a dome team with an inferior running game.

wish it were colder, though.

Slight edge because of the rain?

Pretty sure this will be at least a 10 point game in Pats favor.

From a weather conditions standpoint, Pats have the edge in that department based on their style.

I'm actually expecting a tight one.  Pats defense is so banged up that I think the Colts will be able to move the ball.  It's just a matter of getting some stops. Pats should be able to score on their D also.  I think they'll try to take the edge rushers out of the picture by running it up the gut time & time again.

I think Pats win this one by more than one score.  Chandler or Nink will get a strip sack.  Vereen and Ridley will be the stars of the backfield this week.

Edelmen will finally break a punt return for a TD.

also, Chargers over Broncos.

Yea the patriots are gonna try and pound the ground game like they did against Buffalo. I just hope they can do it successfully

The Indianapolis fans were pretty upset when Manning left, understandably, but if I were a Colts fan I'd be extremely pleased looking toward the future. Luck is one of the most promising young players I've seen in a long time, and where Peyton has few years left to play in this league, Luck AND the Colts have a very promising future ... and an extended one.

I'm surprised they didn't have Mallet doing the holding. And I think it was mostly because they didn't want a bobbled snap to give the Colts good field position or more.

BTW, did anyone else think that we lucked out giving up that safety as opposed to Allen covering up and giving the ball to Indy at the 2?
Announcers were saying you never give points away but after the bad snap i thought that was a stroke of luck that the ball got loose and knocked out the endzone.

Well, after the safety you still have to kick it back to the other team (in fact, free kick rather than kick off, which typically goes for less distance) -- you're giving up 2 points right away and good field position to the other team, so it's potentially 9 points before you see the ball again.

But yes, I also think that taking the safety and playing defense is the better outcome.

BB just didn't want to be accused of running up the score.
