This is a Durant issue not a Westbrook issue.

I felt like Durant needed some kind of failure to light a fire inside him - and I thought last year's finals loss was that failure.
I expected him to become this ruthless scoring monster.........and it hasn't really happened. I mean, the dude drops 28 a game EASY, but there isn't that killer instinct that you see out of guys who want it (KG, Kobe, LeBron, etc.).
Personally, I think he's scared to let Westbrook know that he's the MAN, and that Westbrook is his second banana.
This is not to say Durant isn't a great player, but I think he lacks that extreme aggressiveness that is needed to win. He's a bit too unselfish for a league-leading scorer.
