If you're Washington you have to do it. He's your franchise guy for better or worse

I think this is the sad truth. Washington has no choice and Wall's agent likely knows that they'll eventually cave.

Max for Wall is what, about 12 to 13 million.

I think Washington should go for it. He has all the talent in the world to be All Star caliber. Needs to improve shooting, but that will come.

John Wall is not the problem in Washington though, they need a leader in that team, and unfortunately it's not him.

But talent (potential) alone, I think he's worth 12 Mil. Outside of shooting efficiently he has the tools to be good to great at everything else.

I think he deserves $10-12 mil. He's a great player.

I also really hope that Wall+Beal stay together. They could be really good together, I've liked how they've jelled.

You gotta do it.

I'd trade the remaining years on Rondo's contract for an extended John Wall without much hesitation.

Nothing like getting to the front of the line to downgrade our chances of winning.

Isn't that the same sort of reasoning that led Atlanta to give Joe Johnson that ridiculous contract?

I would easily give Wall 10+ a year if I'm Washington. Does he deserve it? Certainly debatable. If he can stay healthy that's a no brainer

Has been awful? You'll need to elaborate for me to understand where you're coming from. From the games I've watched, he's pretty dominant against opposing PGs.

Would you trade Bass for him?

what an idiot. Has done nothing to prove he deserves max. Tired of these young kids who think they deserve the world.

AB is twice the player John Wall is and AB is not worth max

I don't think he can get a max contract from anyone but Washington.   They really can't afford to lose him though and his agent will attempt to get it I'm sure..

Washington maybe roped /scard into a max deal....... could be a LONG time before they could draft a quality point guard of his calibre yet again.

Hes not worth it in my mind....but I assume their GM knows the score

How has he done nothing?? EXPLAIN please. He's been wrecking a lot of PGs and is by no means an "idiot"

Entering rebuilding you take the 22 year old with superstar potential over the 27 year old who is an All-Star.
