So some major rumors are beginning to float around the internet that LeBron is involved in the Miami clinic steroid scandal.  As of right now, all they are rumors, coming from sites like total pro sports, yard barker etc.  Regardless of it being just rumors, would it surprise you if the best player in basketball is on steroids?

It wouldn't surprise me if any pro athlete was taking PEDs.  I'm pretty skeptical that Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu are the only players in the NBA using PEDs.

He could be on steroids, but this is him at 17... he was going to be HUGE regardless.

Sadly, a lot of kids start using PEDs in high school.  Being big at a young age doesn't suggest that you're not using.

At the same time, it doesn't suggest that you are using, either.  Some guys just win the athletic lottery.

Seriously it's about time. I know he was made in a test tube and genetically modified by scientists. That's a fact,
Everyone knows. But to think that some of these phsyical freaks and workout warriors such as Karl Malone, Alonzo Mourning, Lebron James, Michael Jordan, Charles Oakley, Denis Rodman Kobe Bryant, to think that these guys have not even dabbled in drugs to speed healing, recover faster from workouts and games. Come on this has been going on for a long time.

Not to single any of those guys out. Maybe... Oakley didn't juice. But all those other guys for sure. IMO.

Exactly.  My guess is those two didn't have a good enough hook up to get the designer PED's that go undetected.

Testing for any drug first requires reverse engineering it.  Top scientists will always be one step ahead of regulators.

Are those the T-Macs?  He didn't have his own shoe line out yet at age 17?  What a loser

it is very tempting to look around the league and point out guys that might fit the eyeball test of who might be using (LeBron, Dwight come to mind) but that's completely profiling and it devolves into a witch hunt (it is easy to hate on those guys, but how does it feel if someone points to Perk as a roid-rage potential? Not good huh?) - plus we know that not all PEDs make you jacked-looking (see Armstrong)

I think we're only a short distance away from a major NBA PED scandal, and yeah, LeBron would be huge if this was anywhere near true.

but I'll do my best to refrain judgement before evidence of some sort is revealed

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I have always used LBJ as an example of how a person is just athletically gifted that no matter how much big their body gets, they don't lose their speed and quickness everytime I have an argument about someone accusing Manny Pacquiao of doping.

I told all of them that "LeBron got big over the years, yet he never lost his speed and quickness and got more stronger, is he using steroids as well"?

Never did I thought that he was going to be linked to PED's... That was some weird stuff.

(just a little "cool story bro" moment.)

In any case, I'd like some more links form some more reliable news sources before I jump in any conclusions.
