I strongly doubt Ainge would do the Bradley deal.

To get Boston's Avery Bradley, the Wolves would have to sacrifice Williams and a future first-round pick, according to a league source. That's not happening.

Another name to keep an eye on are Boston's Courtney Lee, whom Adelman likes, according to a team source. Lee played for Adelman in Houston.

But another team source said the Wolves were not inclined to offer a four-year deal, which Boston eventually did, when they talked with Lee's representative last summer. In other words, the contract could bother the Wolves.

Interesting. Williams could be a nice add and the future first would be even better. If we were trading Bradley away I would hope we could swing it through a bigger deal.

Wolves, Hawks, Celtics for a three team? Williams and a first would be a nice starting point for the Hawks in a Smith deal.

Looks like Ainge is selling high, and if his offers arent met then he's moving along. I like it.

Maybe 4 years bothered them but the 3 1/4 years left won't be bothersome given how Lee has been playing.

What could we get for Lee?

Bradley for Williams, where do I sign up?

edit: Problem is, salaries are nowhere close. Lee for Williams works salary-wise, but makes less sense.

Can't we just bring Gerald Green back?

That I would do.  Not Bradley.

So far, Williams does seem to fall into the tweener category.  I don't like what I've seen.

No, because he may be the better NBA player in the long run, and plays a position that's harder to staff.

Williams has actually improved alot since his years at Arizona. All Williams needs is a pass-first point guard, just look at how great he is playing when Ricky Rubio is on the court.

But still, i agree that Bradley for Williams is a bad deal.
Jack of all trades, master of none.

No, I wasn't, actually. I see Bradley as a nice piece going forward, but just that, a piece. Certainly dispensable, especially for a big.

So does Bradley, by the way.

If it's Bradley for a big, then I would want one more proven. And preferrably not the tweener  kind.

Bradley for Williams and a pick in the 8-11 range? Sounds like a poor deal for the Wolves but you never know, Kahn loves his guards.
