If it's Bradley for a big, then I would want one more proven. And preferrably not the tweener  kind.
I'm not sure about the talent level Bradley will fetch in such a deal. Someone like Dalembert or Kaman, at most -- and I wouldn't do this.

Bradley for Williams and a pick in the 8-11 range? Sounds like a poor deal for the Wolves but you never know, Kahn loves his guards.
You never know what can happen in 1-2 years.
Just remember the Clippers pick, everybody was hyped that we were going to end up with a pick in the range of 11-14.

So far, Williams does seem to fall into the tweener category.  I don't like what I've seen.
So does Bradley, by the way.

Sure but he has some true strengths.  I don't feel the same way with Williams.

As far as defense, I don't think he gets picked on for his size too much at SG.

And I still believe in Bradley's offensive development.

Bradley for Williams, where do I sign up?

Because Williams is oh so awesome?

He's was being sarcastic.
No, I wasn't, actually. I see Bradley as a nice piece going forward, but just that, a piece. Certainly dispensable, especially for a big.

Same. I unfortunately cant get behind Bradley for anything but hoping another team wants him enough to overpay us for him. Thats where I see his only value at this point.

Fair enough. I don't know Williams' game very well, but I'd be willing to roll the dice on a PF who was a high draft pick and seems to be improving while playing in a veritable big man graveyard.

Recent Bradley games have made me somewhat less of a believer in Bradley's ability to consistently contribute anything but on-the-ball defense and occasional corner three/jumper (which in my book makes him a shorter Bruce Bowen).

It's a small sample, and I'll cut him some slack because he had two major offseason injuries, but it's a real possiblity that he'll never be anything but an ok complementary piece.

True but i personally have little faith in the TWolves going forward. They haven't proven they can stay healthy and when they are they can't beat the tough teams and when the going gets tough for them Kevin Love is going to cry about how he's not on a winning team. The guy is the biggest cry baby next to LeBron when things don't go his way. Plus David Khan is their GM. So my personal belief would be we'd be getting a lottery pick.

  • It's what I do! It's who I am!
The only thing that concerns me is Williams fg% and I don't know his game enough to know why it's low, although its not like Bradley is great either

This is nuts. Derrick Williams? Another tweener who's a below-average rebounder for his position? No thanks.

Bradley, in my opinion, is more than "just a piece." For my money, he's the best on-ball defender in the NBA. That's a pretty good thing to have on your team, and you certainly don't trade him for an underperforming tweener.

edit: Problem is, salaries are nowhere close. Lee for Williams works salary-wise, but makes less sense.

You'd rather trade Bradley over Lee?

Williams is way too reminiscent of Beasley for my liking.

I also don't like that he doesn't have a high motor.

We know this rumor's not real, as we all know the Wolves are only interested in bringing in white players.

That's why they tried to trade Brandon Roy for Timofey Mozgov.
That's why you hear they are interested in JJ Redick.

They haven't had interest in a Celtic's players since Greg Stiemsma, and they already got him from us.  This rumor can't possibly be true.

From the article Lee could make sense. Minny's looking at Reddick and Bradley but don't want to part with Willams and a draft pick, Lee wouldn't cost them the draft pick.

The thread appeared to discuss Bradley for Williams. I'd do Lee as well, but this still leaves us with roster issues (not having a guard taller than 6'3 is a problem).

I would rather trade Bradley and keep Lee personally. I think Lee can bring to the table what Bradley does and then some. He is miles better on Offense, a little less valuable on defense but he can still pester his opponent. I just dont see Bradleys ceiling being very high and I think other GMs value him more.
