Something needs to change, Boston is not well, the defense is very bad, still missing the rebound, and there are players like Jeff Green to be traded.

Ainge for February should pass to Green and Lee, Jeff Green is a soft player, no intensity, no blood, and Courtney Lee is not a bad player, but with Terry, Bradley's return, he has it complicated.

You have to try some plan Ainge, if the Celtics want to make important this season, Kenyon Martin, Josh Smith, Big Al (hard to see it in February, but Ainge should try next summer as a priority), Boston needs changes, at least a rebounder, a point guard (Barbosa not) and traded to Green.

KG and Pierce are still playing at a high level, but Do they have enough help? that is my question.

Jason Terry: Although he is not playing at the highest level, I am confident Jet, he will be very important when it comes to the truth.

Leandro Barbosa also think should play longer, I do not know, I'm watching every game of Boston and am having a lot of doubts, KG is still another year without help in the paint, still need some parts, if Celtics want to be contenders, we have a good team to do something important this year.

I'd like to see what the rotation looks like when the team has a full roster before calling for a roster shakeup.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

While I think a big trade is in the best interest of this team, I don't believe they are in the dire straights some mention.

A good, purpose full trade will help this team.

A quick let's just move this guy out trade will not.

I would love to add Kenyon Martin. It would be brilliant to add Kenyon Martin and Chris Andersen. Then trade Wilcox to another team who'll eat his salary in exchange for cash to help aid against that cap limit.

I think the two of them (Kenyon, C.Andersen) would give the team's bench some major reinforcement in terms of interior defense and rebounding.

Agreed.  This team is still in position to get better, without a trade.  However, I don't think it is that extreme to suggest that they are another impact player (particularly in the front court) away from being a legit contender.  So, that certainly needs to be the number one goal of Danny, to find that guy.  But, its just hard to know whether they are actually out there.

To me, that is trying to patch a hole with old worn down parts.  It will mask some issues during the regular season against weaker foes but will be exposed during the playoffs against contenders.

I would still be looking for a larger move but those smaller moves will improve the team too.

I would hold off on the "smaller moves" until after the big move.  Then look to see what the "small holes" are.

It hasn't been a secret that this team was in need of a roster change.  A lot of people got carried away by "big" names like "Jason Terry" and "Courtney Lee" and lost sight of just how flawed this roster was.

I expected us to play .500 until the deadline and we're playing .500 until the deadline.  I refuse to panic until after we have a chance to shop our assets for an upgrade.

I beg to differ, he's downright miserable on the defensive end.

I'm surprised people think we can trade Green and get good value. His health issue and contract make him nearly impossible to move, not to mention he has not shown anything to make teams interested this year. We are stuck with him for a while. Lee and Bass are our expendable, tradeable assets.

Can't wait ... pieces as valuable as Kenyon and C.Andersen shouldn't be on the market. Can't depend on them (or someone of similar value) still being available a few months down the line.

I am shocked they have lasted this long.

Martin is a shadow of his former self but reportedly still has attitude problems, and didn't Andersen have child **** charges against him? He had also tested positive for drugs a while back. No thanks to both of them.

But they are on the market soon.

And until the Celtics actually need them (and at this point, they don't.  Neither played that great last year and both come with pointless baggage)

If a team wants multiple swing players for a new starting big man, the Celtics would suddenly be overloaded with bench bigs that don't have a lot of trade value at that point.
