Rondo is still struggling to control his emotions.

He got hit in the head 5 times tonight.

Come on Rondo!!
He's supposed to be the leader and let he let Wade get to him.

Wade's a little whiny **** so it's easy to get annoyed by him and for him to get in your head. He annoys the hell out of me and I'm just watching; however, you are right. Rondo is still struggling to control his emotions.

I'm glad Rondo retaliated though. We were going to lose anyways at that point. Rondo is showing Wade he's not backing down.

Watch, when our chemistry are better we will destroy them. I mean come on, Barbosa who didnt have training camp with us and barely any practice with us scored 16 pts off the bench and all in the 4th quarter. A few ticky tacky fouls on Rondo, and Courtney Lee really helped them a bit too.

No Darko of Collins tonight? We need a defensive presence in the paint when KG is out.

26 points and 10 rebounds from LeBron in only 29 minutes.
Would have been a 20-point blowout if he played whole game.

Enough outta you, little rain cloud.

1. Anyone else looking forward to having Bradley back?

2. I haven't seen the Celtics play that fast in, like, 10 years. What a crazy weird game. I don't think we'll see another one like that.

3. No way does Jason Terry keep playing as bad as that.

4. Next game, they will hate each other even more.yeeeessss

at least LeBron made that game interesting by sitting out the second half.

I'm surprised the majority of you guys had Barbosa as one of our 3 worst players.   I had him ranked 7th behind KG, Pierce, Rondo, Green, Lee and Terry... in that order.

I mean shoot... he might be as valuable as Terry.  They are both just scorers, but Barbosa is bigger.

Rondo is still struggling to control his emotions.

He got hit in the head 5 times tonight.

Still not an excuse and he's my favorite player. He got hit in the head during the playoffs and it didn't get called against the same team. He knows the refs love Miami. It's not fair, but it's something you have to learn to deal with.

I already knew the calling was going to be bs. HUGE season opener with a story line: ECF sequel with the new Benedict Arnold of the NBA and with Miami receiving their rings AT HOME. Come on now. I went in tonight knowing it'd be 5 vs 8. It is what it is.

We played poorly and the HEAT played well.   Too many star calls from the refs for my taste, Lebron complains to the refs every play, Rondo does once and it's a technical.   I sure as heck won't miss Stern.

Our offense was incredible tonight.  Did we really play "poorly"?

I guess our defense could have been a little tighter?  Isn't that just because we have no interior defense?  I think we are who we are... good offensive team with a lot of undersized shooting guards who can light it up.  Size is still a problem

Ditto. By now, Rondo should know better than that. Celtics need to forget about the whistles and play some D. Then they'll be ok, even playing 5 on 8 they can win it all.

Once they pick the Defense and cut the turnovers, they'll be more than ok.

terry and green will get better.

defense will improve...a lot of new parts

barbosa needs consistent minutes....fast....high energy

this team is going to play small A LOT this season

very encouraged tonight. things that were wrong will be fixed

Glad to see skinny Vinnie freaking out already. Hypocrits to the end Criticize Rondo all you like, you would love it if Kite did that. Send a message. But, no, all the naysayers who love nothing more than crapping on this team. Ugh, what a joke. I think I'm out. All the bs starting again.

Wisest thing I can do: say good bye to the game thread and all the idiotic, ass-backwards "fans" here. Sorry all you good lot, and there are many. Just takes a few Vinnies and it turns to dung. This stuff brings me down. Know your negativitity seeps out there. Hope you enjoy being that guy. Someone has to do it, but can't imagine it is fun.

It's all in the head for them.
