I think that's correct on both assessments.
Bradley was "turrible" at the point in his rookie season. But when Rondo went down last year, Bradley did just fine at the point, we went 6-2 with him during that stretch, and I thought it was a mini break out for him.
Also correct to me is that once he was put at the 2 spot when Ray went down, he really broke out and played some very good basketball - certainly his best to date at the 2 spot.
Personally, if Bradley brings this year what he was bringing last year when healthy, I'd like to see him on the court as much as possible.
My ideal scenario would be him starting at the 2 spot once he's back and healthy and then sliding to the point when Rondo needs a break - hopefully that would earn him about 30-35 minutes a night on the court, with about 25 of those minutes at the 2 spot. Lee and Jet can fill in the balance, with Jet also at the 1 & 2 spots for a few minutes, depending on need.
I am also confident that Bradley and Jet could handle the point reasonably well if Rondo was out for 8-10 games.
That's why I think adding additional veteran depth behind Pierce and Green is a very wise move. Enter Pietrus.
