Getting kinda sick of articles like this one

http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2012/10/12/james-and-allen-the-perfect-pairing/

Tired of hearing about how "scary" the heat could be etc

So when i get the chance to rip judas when he has a bad game im gonna cause it makes me feel godd, thats just how it is.

Jamal Crawford didnt look scared of judas when he crossed him up and sank a J in his face today and im shure the clips were really intimidated by judas shooting performance:

3-10 and 0-5 from 3, 6 points in total.......WOW ray

Good job, good effort  ;D

Btw for those who are tired of people hating on judas think again. It is our right and duty as die hard celtics fans to do so whenever he plays us or has a poor game just like this one.

I don't know.  To me, it comes across like the jilted boyfriend who got dumped for the star QB.  He tells everyone how much he's better off and how he's over her, while semi-stalking her every move and secretly crying into his pillow at night.

But regardless, I hope Ray has a lousy season.  I don't suspect he will, but I hope we send him home for an early vacation.  That said, pre-season means absolutely nothing.

Wow......u talking from personal experience?

I dont get that at all. thats not where im coming from, i just think that he disrespected his teammates and doc and the fans by leaving the way he did.

Im not gonna wish him luck and im gonna rip him when i can cause of what he did not because i have some hypothetical gay crush on him.

That sounds exactly like where your coming from. You said you don't care at all because he's a traitor, but your going to track him all year and post every bad game he has. What part of Roy's analogy was inaccurate?

Now, if you wanna do that fine, more power to ya, but I think we all need to move on. I hope Ray has a terrible season to and can't hit the broadside of a barn, but im not going to be following Ray Allen performance in Miami all year and reporting back on them. I don't care about ray anymore. As long as we beat him and send him home early come playoff time, I'm a happy man.

I'll give him a cheer once, when he comes back, then proceed to boo every time he touches the ball.

Edit: also who brought sexuality into this?

I'd say it's more of a right than a duty to rip on Ray.  If it makes you happy, go for it.  This Celtics fan doesn't feel obligated to kill the guy when he has an off night (especially in the preseason).

Dude ... get over yourself. There is nothing heroic about harping on Ray for a bad preseason game.

boy, i jointed this thread thinking it would contain an analysis of allen's game and i was curious to see about his new role and whether it was working...and hoping he was not doing well.

but the thread has taken quite a different track. is it worth trying to move it back to a better direction?

what sort of role did allen play for the heat in the game? does he park out past the 3 point line and wait for james et al to penetrate and then kick out the ball? is he a ball handler for the heat? do they run pick and rolls for him?

just curious to see this...partly from him being a celtic before. and partly from wanting to know what sort of match up challenge he might pose for the celtics when the two teams play.

I wish Ray great success except for the games against Boston.

Just a difference of opinion.  As I understand it, you think it's the "duty" of "hardcore" Celtics fans to closely follow Ray this season, and to bash him when he has a bad game.  That's your right.

I think that there are a lot of fans who are pretty hung up on Ray, and who feel jilted.  I think many of those fans have personalized his decision, and are taking it like being "dumped".  Thus, there's a lot of (perhaps unnecessary) emotion and obsessiveness with it.

That's my take on it.  I'm not saying you necessarily fall into that group.  However, I do think there's another argument other than that it's our "duty" to closely track Ray's poor games and bash him for them.

I like Ray, and respect him for the time he spent here.  However, I hope he has an atrocious year.  I'd love to see the Heat struggle in the regular season, and somehow lose home court in our inevitable playoff matchup.

Ray was one of my favorite Celtics, and still is one of my favorite basketball personalities.  That said, at this stage of his game, and with the state of his recurring ankle problems, I (personally) am glad that he "took his talent to Miami"  and away from the Celtics.  And I am glad for the way he did it.  If we had to trade him for like salary I do not believe that we could have gotten the free agents we have picked up...probably would have gotten an overpaid  semi-star and garbage filler and would not have nearly as talented a team as we ended up with.  I wish Ray well, but still feel that it was a boneheaded decision/mistake  by him and he will regret it personally, while the Celtics' talent increased by subtraction.

As far as the "right to hate"...is it my right to hate the haters?   ;)

and I don't think anyone begruded you that, do whatever you feel like doing, Roy, I and others just think it's a little silly to say you going to follow ray in miami because you don;t care about him anymore, thats all.

This is the problem.

I did not say these things! Ray had a bad game and i chose to blast him for it.

I have not mentioned anything about following the heat and/or him to then blast him and post about it.

OMG!

You can read cant you?

Its right there in writing what i in fact DID say!

WOW! just.....WOW!
