Jeff Green is playing good Defense on Carmelo
Idk if it's already been said

Green would be awesome guarding this small forward heavy league. Durant, Lebron, Carmelo, even Dirk in some stretches

Pierce doesn't have physicality to guard Lebron/Carmelo's of the world. Through Bass & Green on them Doc.

Man, if Green is playing like this, and Sullinger keeps the up curve...The Celts could have a really fun season.

Lots of positives, but those two are sticking out.  Also, Terry's so solid, he's just a given, but he looks like he's fitting right in.

I definitely think that separation from the pack (with the Heat, if it happens) will be because of Green and Sullinger.  All others I think we have a pretty good idea what they'll bring (barring injury) -- it's good and deep, but Sully and Green could make a huge difference if they exceed expectations. Darko is the other wild card. Consistent solid minutes from him will keep KGs minutes down and give them that needed very large body (he might be able to bring more than what Perk brought).

It's not that, Pierce is just older now. Just turned 35 today. I remember the days when in '08 Pierce could guard Lebron single coverage. Doesn't have the foot speed or endurance to keep up with the younger players anymore

Knicks brought in Sheed to give Chandler some pointers on how to dunk obnoxiously.  Becauese, y'now, he's not quite obnoxious enough yet.

I have seen a lot of good stuff so far, but naturally I am not as optimistic as most. On the downside, Bass looks awful and the team still can't rebound. And of course, they still love turnovers. Okay, I am done. Resume your OptiFest.  ;D
