I can care less about Ray Allen, Miami or whether fans want to boo or not. Ray's gone. He tarnished his own legacy and reputation with his own doing. Fans don't need to stoop low just to prove a point or show disdained for Ray, but if fans decide to boo I wouldn't be mad.
Then again, this picture above might irritate Celtics fans even more. If Ray wants to tailgate with Miami's Three Stooges, then so be it.
TP. The fact Ray has gone to the Heat ruins his chance of retiring as a Celtic legend. If he doesn't care about that, why should we care about him? Let him enjoy his role in South Beach.
I'm over it, and I'd love to see a standing ovation for the Ray in green showing on the Jumbotron in case they make a video tribute. The Ray dressed in the cHeat uniform is not that important, and, in my opinion, the best thing Celtic fans could do is ignore him, while cheering loudly for the players in green. They are the important guys, our guys.
And about hard fouls, I hope Wade hits the deck several times every time he plays the Celtics. LeBron, Bosh, Chalmers, Allen... beat them cleanly, as Roy says. But Karate Hamster deserves some "good playoff hard fouls". No injury intended, of course, but our players have been beaten (literally) over the last 4 years by injury and by dirty opponents (Dwight and his elbows, Kobe and Bynum against Perk, Karate Hamster against Rondo). Darko/Collins seem the right men to protect the rim and instill some respect for the Green men.
Go Celtics!
