I think this is just speculation arise from one writers thought. He said something along the lines of "how could dooling spend more time with his family? By moving back to them in Florida and joining the Miami heat."

Im sure someone took that as his interest in playing for the heat.

Lol, that'd be kind of messed up but oh well. His value was in his chemistry/leadership other than that he's a scrub. The Heat can have him if they want.
