Amare Stoudemire could be a really good option for Comeback Player of the Year.

Excited to see what type of impact Hakeem Olajuwon's lessons have on his style of play.

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
League MVP: LeBron, though voters will be ready to give it to someone else, so Durant has a great shot.
Team With da best Record: Heat
Comeback player of da Year: They don't even give this one out anymore, but Brandon Roy would have to be the favorite.
Most Improved Player: Klay Thompson
Most Improved Team: Timberwolves
Rookie of da Year: It's Davis' to lose.
Player who will Fall Off: Kobe's numbers will drop off, even if his talent doesn't.  Talent-wise I think Duncan's gonna start to look washed-up this year.
Coach of da Year: Tom Thibodeau, because the Bulls will still be above-average without Rose
Defensive Player of da Year: Howard
Sixth Man of da Year: Louis Williams

And

Bold Statement Before da Season: Here's two: Brooklyn still misses the playoffs.  Clippers knock out the Lakers in the 2nd round, and nobody knows whether the post-game rioters are angry or happy.

League MVP: Lebron (he is the annointed one afterall)
Team With the best Record:  (C)Heat
Comeback player of the Year:  Jeff Green
Most Improved Player: Demarcus Cousins
Most Improved Team: GSW
Rookie of the Year:  Anthony Davis
Player who will Fall Off: Steve Nash
Coach of the Year: Doc
Defensive Player of the Year:  Dwight Howard
Sixth Man of the Year: Jason Terry

And

Bold Statement Before the Season:
#1: C's win their 18th title going through Knicks, Indiana, Miami and LA.
#2: Lakers don't really mesh until March and then go on a run to the finals
#3: Orlando has the worst record in the league and BBD looks like their best player.
#4: C's beat Miami in 6 games in the ECF.  Ray Allen is a virtual no show and JET looks like the steal of the offseason.

I think the Knicks will post a very good regular season W-L record next season. I don't see them parting with Melo during the season due to that.

A poor showing in the playoffs will crank the pressure up another notch though.

Most Improved Player: Klay Thompson
Klay Thompson is an excellent pick. Especially if Bogut can stay healthy and Golden State pickup 45-50 wins. That would really reinforce Klay's case (and impressive stats).

MVP: "The Chosen One" Bron Bron is expected to put up 28, 8 and 6 and he will. With Dwyane Wade starting to slow down, LeBron will step up as the undisputed leader of the team and their most important player by far. The only reason i don't see Durant winning it is because he may not even be the most valubale player on his team. Westbrook is pretty dang good.

Best Record: OKC Thunder. Thunder are more experienced and a deeper team than they were last year. They rolled through the West pretty easily. Having 2 top 10 players in the league helps.

Comeback player (is this an official award?): Brandon Roy. I'm really rooting for Roy. He was such a fun player to watch. I don't think he'll be asked to carry too much of the load on the TWolves. Will probably log 28 minutes a night and playing with one of the best passers in the game will help him get his rhythm back. Go B-Roy. Jeff Green is also a possible canidate but i've never been high on him.

Most improved: Evan Turner. One day Evan Turner will be an all star. One day. Not this year but i can see him making significant strides. With Iggy and Lou Williams gone he will have more time to showcase his offense. He's also a great passer and having Bynum under the hoop to dish to will elevate his numbers.

Most improved team: Brooklyn Nets. Best back court in the NBA. Alot of people think they could dissapoint but i don't think so with Avery Johnson at the helm.

Rookie of the Year: Anthony Davis. Damian Lillard a close second.

Fall Off Player: Dwyane Wade. So i hope. For a player who relies so much on his explosiveness, knee problems = bad news. Wades dibilitating athletisism will frustrate him and being the dirty maggot he is, he'll look to take out his frastration through dirty plays and cheap shots. Guarentee. A true class act.

Coach of the Year: Frank Vogel. Pacers are going to be dynamite in the regular season. Vogel had the team practicing together in the summer and we're going to see it pay off.

Defensive player of the Year: Dwight Howard. He'll get alot of blocked shots, ecspecially on help defense when guard blow by Nash to get to the rim.

6th man: James Harden. Obvious choice.

League MVP: D Howard
Team With da best Record: Heat
Comeback player of da Year: Brandon Roy
Most Improved Player: Michael Beasley
Most Improved Team:Bobcats
Rookie of da Year: Lilliard
Player who will Fall Off: Steve Nash followed by Dwayne Wade
Coach of da Year: Doc
Defensive Player of da Year: Avery Bradley
Sixth Man of da Year: Avery Bradley

And

Bold Statement Before da Season: Kyle Singler will be this year's Chandler Parsons.
The Raptors, Rockets, and Bobcats will put the fear of God into teams before it's all said and done and they fade.
Charles Jenkins will emerge due to injuries to Stephen Curry and Jarret Jack prompting ennnnnddddlllleeess Skip Bayless vs that other guy debates about who is better...Jeremy Lin or the guy they cut him for (Jenkins).
Obama will be pushed to kiss his wife at a Wizards game prompting Frenchman Kevin Seraphin to walk up and say "Cmon. Do it".
Kobe Bryant will be seen screaming at his teammates at some point, but everything will be fine a week later and they'll go deep into the playoffs, but as a result Steve Nash will retire.
A member of the Heat will "accidentally" punch a ref in the face and receive a $1000 fine and a half game suspension.
Kevin Martin will be traded.
The Spurs will miss the playoffs.
The Trailblazers will make the playoffs.
The Clippers won't go anywhere prompting their owner to call them the biggest group of sissies he ever put on the court.
At some point Larry Bird will be watching a game, and suddenly for no apparent reason look visibly disgusted, get up and say something to the extent of "This makes me sick. I can still crush half these guys with my left hand tied behind my back. I'm leaving" and then the next week just say "I was talking about the food". Magic Johnson will struggle to explain this to everyone and just say "You gotta understand Larry is in a different world of basketball and always will be." and when pushed to explain further will just say "I can't explain it to you"
Michael Jordan will suit up and embarrass the crud out of all the young players on his team in a practice, but especially Kemba, MKG, Ben Gordon, and Gerald Hederson. Will spend the entire next day in an ice bath but not tell a soul.
Tim Duncan will hang em up.
