I was impressed with the trailer, more impressed with the song.

The coolest thing is going to be Dream Team vs. 2012 Olympic Team.

Barkley is back!!  It's been a log time.

So far, this is a skip year for me from NBA 2K13

It's not that i don't think it will be an awesome game, It's just that aside from "fixing the iso controls" which involves reworking them for no good reason other than we need a new feature.

I mean, Dream team is cool, but not enough to make me drop $60 and have to restart my franchise and myplayer.

Mabey they'll unveil some new stuff and change my mind though, they have time.

I read about the new signature styles, and it seems like the trailer confirmed - looks like they put some improvements to ball handling and ability to take your opponent off the dribble.

Previously, if you had a good post player on the block in a mismatch it was almost an automatic two, but blowing past a big on the perimeter with a point guard wasn't anywhere as simple

I'll buy it the first day, and won't think twice about it. In my opinion they've consistently drastically improved the game play and features year in and year out, and I'll continue to buy them w/o thought until that ceases.

I think they've put themselves in a great position, too - while the improvements to the gameplay itself might start to level off I'm sure we'll see some pretty steady improvements to the MyPlayer mode over the course of the next couple years. Still plenty of work to do there.

right, i mean I think it's going to be a good game, but asking 60 bucks for a roster and animation update is a bit much for me. It's a knock against sports games as  whole more than NBA2K. I tend to follow a "once every 2 years" cycle on sports games.

one thing that could swing the pendulem in their favor? Let me inport my franchise.

I'm not willing to lose the 2019 Celtics at this time, We're having to much fun ;)

I know what you're saying, I haven't bought a new Madden since 2010 under the same line of thinking (though I think I may end up getting this one)

I guess my point is that the changes in animation and the actual game play in 2k have been so consistently drastic year in and year out that it's very much worth it

MyPlayer makes it worth the $60 easily. I think they've very carefully put out small upgrades to myplayer each year, because they're super sneaky.

This year, you have 'sit-downs' with the GM, live twitter reactions to games, and other improvements.

So psyched about the sitdowns -

I HOPE HOPE they put crew mode back in. Thats just awesome playing with buddy's against others as if you're in a pickup game.

I am buying regardless though for roster/rating updates throughout the season and all the extra goodness 2k puts into the series each year. I mean there's a reason it's the best sports games of the year like all the time.

2 things:

1) There are man-butts in there, and they come on quickly and out of context.

2) Having a customer walk in while you're listening to that song, its not professional. Thanks for nothin. I had to put on 'No Diggity' immediately to wash that song out of my brain.
