  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Yeah, I read that as Wiggle just avoiding the argument, not leaving the league. Although threatening to quit the league and then silently shuffling back into the fold is one of our richest traditions. If Wiggle doesn't, then I will just to keep up appearances, and I'm going to blame it all on...

let's see...

yep, definitely blake's fault.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Anyway, I don't have a cool enough head for this, rather than deal with somebody's personal axe to grind, I'll just walk away.

I believe WW just quit the league. We are at an odd number of teams in Y!.

That old dull axe just ground out the WW.

Mk

Let's not jump to conclusions. I think (hope?) WW just meant he needs to walk away from the computer for a bit.

I have a trade to announce, perhaps it will get us back to talking about basketball:

Kwhit sends Kendall Marshall, Jan Vesely, own 2013 1st, Utah Flash 2013 1st
MakeMeSomeBacon sends Al Horford and Jason Maxiell

I don't like this trade for Kwhit one bit. Anytime a team, who finished ahead of me last season, lands a player like Horford, I don't like it.

That being said, I think Marshall will be very good, but he's behind Dragic for now. Plus, Vesely is an intriguing player.

I think MK was referencing that he deleted his team on Yahoo.

Interesting.  Horford for two unproven young guys and two picks.  I'd like to think that there was more value out there for him, but this is basically four swings at a home run for MMSB, so it could work out.

I think it may take some time before Bacon might be deemed the winner of this trade.

Then again, maybe Atlanta struggles this year after the loss of Johnson and the uncertainty of Josh Smith's future. Plus Horford did have that injury last year (although he's got to be fully recuperated by now?).

What's the flowchart on Horford's movement?  Was it a trade between Lucky and MMSB, or were there more pieces?

I was high on Marshall coming into the draft and I think he'll end up having a good career. Vesely is a wild card, there are times where I think he'll turn out to be productive and then other times I don't even know about him.

I don't expect my 1st round pick next year to be too high and UF could range from the middle to high teens as well.

I think Horford will produce what he did before this injury about 15 and 9.

I like that deal a lot for KWhit.  I like Kendall Marshall as an NBA player, but he's not likely to be much of a scorer, which really hurts him in this format.  Don't know much about Vesely, but the two picks are likely to be out of the lottery in what's shaping up as a weak draft.

It could pan out for Bacon but KWhit got a very nice piece to add to a roster that was strong already.

I think Kwhit wins this deal by a fair margin. Marshall is a rookie and playing behind a young PG. Vesely showed nothing last year and I never saw what any of the draftniks saw in him. Unless those picks are in the top 5 I can't see them being more valuable than a 26 year old 14PPG, 9.5 RPG, 1 BPG, 2.5 APG, 54% FG%, 76% FT% big man that is just starting to come into his own.

Those stats, over the next 7 years, could be 10-20% lower than what Horford actually puts up as he enters his prime..

Looks like only three teams are over the limits.

#1 Juggernauts2 (BDubs)
Stephen Curry
John Wall
Richard Hamilton
Delonte West
Shannon Brown
Stephen Jackson
Chris Kaman
Joakim Noah
Emeka Okafor
J.J. Hickson
Norris Cole
Rashard Lewis
Kyle Korver
Quincy Pondexter
Brendan Haywood
Darrell Arthur
Royce White

Thoughts? Given his current troubles, perhaps the cut should be Delonte?

Or should it be someone else? Rip?

Not Rip.

I'd go with Pondexter, who has shown zip in his career thus far.  Second choice would probably be Rashard, followed by Delonte.
