  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Who is everyone's pick?
Not just rookie season, but who'll turn out to be a superstar?

Name a few if you want.
I'm going to go with Dion Waiters- legit superstar potential I think.
Who yall got?
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

I'm thinking Damion Lilliard from Portland and Bradley Beal from the Wiz...I think these two will make significant contributions to their teams right away.

I will go with Lillard too.  To me, he is the safest bet to be a really good pro.  I think he has the potential to be like Tony Parker.

I will also throw Terrance Ross out there.  I think he could be a real sleeper, and end up a heck of a player.

Lillard.

That kid is a star in the making. So as Beal.

Im gonna say rivers.  I think Lillard is a bust in the making.  He had the most highlights against unathletic white guys I have ever seen.  The NBA game will be a significant transition for him coming from such a weak conference.
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

you are so wrong. He destroyed all his fellow rookies in  summerleague, clearly mvp.

Hes mature, hard working, freakishly talented, and the league was customized to make players like him excel.

Lillard... funny how people were all over Portland for choosing a guy with the 6th pick from Webber St... Guy looks like he should have gone 2nd. He has the tools to be a superstar pg

Well, I guess that BOS should not hope for anything from Jared or Fab this year, then.

I think Rivers is going to be a bust, honestly. Or maybe not a bust, but at least not a superstar. I see the upper limit of his potential being Monta Ellis - decent volume scorer and not much else.

I would have to say Bradley Beal will be the best guard of this draft. That kid is going to tear things up in the NBA, I think. Lillard I also see big things for.

Waiters and Lamb will be decent, but I don't see either being a superstar to be honest. Potentially All-Stars, though.

Lilliard is a star in the making. I also like Jared Cunnigham from Dallas as a sleeper pick. Steal of the draft, imo.

I have a terrible feeling about him.  He looks like Marcus Williams without the stolen laptops.  His vision is great, but it takes a real special player to be a quality NBA PG without much athleticism these days...and I am not sure he is that special.

Well, if there's a transition that Lillard won't make, it's from dominating NBA level (black and white) guys in summer league, not "unathletic white guys" from a weak conference.

That's a much smaller transition, wouldn't you say?

Not really, summerleague tells you who can't play, not who can.
