I wonder how good they'll really be. In the CB Draft, I'd say theyve got a problem with ball movement. Wall is a subpar passing pg,, Ariza, Okafor, and Nene are nothing special either as passers at their relevant positions.

So I'd say in the CB Draft that they finish outside the playoffs.

But there is a ton of talent there. I'm a huge Nene fan, and I like both Okafor and Beal. I think Beal's coming of age holds their fate, but I have a hard time envisioning him being a top 20 pg out of the gate, which is what they'll need.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
No mention of POR :(

Damian Lillard is the real deal, like Kyrie Irving.

I was watching his pre-draft workout when you wrote your post.

He might go down as the best player from this draft.

Portland will be a smooth shooting uptempo team, but I don't see the defense right now. Probably next year.

What a stud though.

I agree.

no-sign da bolded Wall averaged 8 assist per game last year wit volume shootin chuckers on his team his problem is his broken jumper

You took mine.  I think the Wiz have a legit shot to make the playoffs.

I'll say I expect one or both of Cleveland and Minnesota to make the playoffs.

However, the recent comments made by Love concern me if I'm Minnesota.

On the one hand, I understand what he's really saying out loud.  But, on the other hand, his words sound somewhat selfish to me.  Especially, when you're making these comments after signing an extension not too look ago.  He almost sounds jealous...  Why did you agree to the extension, then?

Quote
"My patience is not high," Love said. "Would yours be, especially when I'm a big proponent of greatness surrounding itself with greatness? All these [Team USA] guys seem to have great players around them.

"It's tough seeing all these guys that are young and older who have all played in the playoffs. When they start talking about that, I have nothing to talk about. If I don’t make the playoffs next year I don’t know what will happen."

Quote
"At this point, I’m not afraid to go on the record," Love said. "Being around these [USA] guys, they know the situation I’m in and how competitive I am. I want to win. All the players on the Timberwolves feel the same way, as well. The coaching staff is awesome. They want to win and win now. Hopefully, we can make some stuff happen.

"I would say it's coming down to it for sure [next season]. It's no secret I was willing to commit to Minnesota for five years. I'm very happy with my contract. I'd love to be in Minnesota. But like anybody else, I want to win."

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Dallas.

Most are writing them out as a playoff team and a first round exit. That team has a good bench and could go deep into the playoffs.

I admit this team intrigues me.  Just plain too young, but maybe in the not too distant future ....

I was with you until this one, lol.

I think we're going to find out that it was indeed a deep draft.
They're more my long range sleeper

Not sure they can be considered a sleeper, most of us think they are good.

Minnesota is an easy choice if Rubio comes back healthy.

I am gonna go with New Orleans though.

Out of the blue?

Cleveland.  No idea if they'll sniff a low seed but I can see them improving upon last year and Irving takes it up another step.

I liked dat team a lot before they traded Jarrett Jack (underrated at da point) nd gave da keys to Austin Rivers at da point. i aint impressed wit dude at all but i can see them sneakin a playoff spot wit Ryan Anderson, the brow, nd Eric Gordon (IF he can stay healthy)leadin da way. Monty WIlliams is a great coach they had a whole bunch of injuries last year but competed hard almost every game

I really think Memphis is going to just keep getting better. They have such a great mix of current talent and potential.

http://espn.go.com/nba/team/depth/_/name/mem/memphis-grizzlies

For the record, they're my favorite team to play with in 2K. TA and Gasol play great D and you can just jack up shot after shot with Conley or Gay  ;D

And do some damange once they get there.

Okafor/Nene up front is a nice defense/offense combo in the halfcourt, with good size, too.  They'd probably give us some trouble.  And Wall can give any PG as much as they can handle.

With Ariza stabilizing the wing rotation with solid D and remaining a 4th option on offense, they're built for playoff ball.

Me too. I don't think playoffs this season but they are maybe 2 years out of a solid playoff team. Still pretty surprised they picked Dion Waiters though.
