Wouldn't mind seeing Josh Smith as a Celtic  , if can get him without breaking up Rondo, Garnet and Pierce. Hateto lose Fab too before he gets a chance.

Its going to be the most interesting season possibly since the big three arrived.

I'm sure J Smith is on DA radar and he'll move people if the right deal and situation presents itself.

One thing about Danny ...he an't shy about making moves to improve the team.

Im totally on board with trying to nab Smith away from the Hawks Im not sure we would have the pieces. Bradley, Bass, and a couple future first rounders might get Ferry to bite because he doesnt really know what he is doing. But if he puts his smart hat on he would never do that trade.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
It would probably cost an arm and a leg to snag Aldridge, but I think he's worth it if we can maintain our core guys(Rondo, Pierce, Garnett, Terry, Green?). It would probably cost us AB,Sully, picks and the contracts to make it work, but the guy just entered his prime. Aside from rebounding what this team needs most is another go to scorer/star. Portland is heading towards a rebuild and Aldridge is at that point where he should be ready to win. I think a trade request is coming soon.

To get Aldridge Boston would have to trade Rondo.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Those are some nice names, but I think Jeff Green would have to have a really great season and either Sullinger or Melo would have to impress a lot of people in order for us to make these trades.  Unless we traded Rondo, which would make no sense.

Varejao seems like the most plausible of the targets.  He'd be a perfect fit, too.
We need not to be let alone. We need to be really bothered once in a while. How long is it since you were really bothered? About something important, about something real?
