Physically most gifted all around. But probably one of the dumber teams with Iggy gone.

Doug Collins will know how to use that to his advantage.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
It's gonna look more like:

Holiday
Young
Turner
Young
Bynum

And I think they actually got worse unless Holiday/Turner takes a large step forward.

I can see Jrue Holiday improving.  He was seen by scouts as a future star point guard in the NBA.  He's got great size, is a good defender, and has a nice stroke.

Spencer Hawes is the smallest 7'1" player I have ever seen. I had no clue that's what he is listed as. Certainly doesn't look (or play) like it on the court.

Besides, they have Kwame, therefore it is impossible for any team to take them seriously.

I think loosing Iggy will be a huge blow for them. Bynum has potential to be pretty great, and has been when healthy. But the already have Hawes and why sign Kwame? Loosing Williams and Iggy is going to greatly hurt the 76ers.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

Hawes missed a lot of games last year due to injury. The same can be said for Bynum.

I think that the 76ers are going to take a Pacers like jump this year, IF they stay healthy.
I like Marcus Smart

I've never understood all of the love for Igoudala on this forum.  He's a good player, sure, he even made the Olympic team.

He has had some pretty decent rosters around him and the best finish he has had is four games over .500.  He has only won a single playoff series, that being as an 8 seed mostly because of the Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah injuries during the series.

If the Bynum 76ers are able to win one playoff series and finish 4 games above .500 twice during his run, they will already have been just as successful as the Igoudala 76ers.

I'd deal him away for Bynum any day of the week. A team led by Igoudala is too good to get a good lottery pick and not good enough to win a playoff series (barring catastrophic injuries). That team was going to be an 8 seed forever unless they made a change.

I agree. Iggy will never be the best player on an elite team.

But I don't think Bynum will either. His upside is better though, if only for the lack of good players at his position.

Personally, I love Andre; however, I don't think the Sixers will miss him that much.  He was basically their point guard(kind of like LeBron for Miami).  Now that he's gone, their actual point guard, Jrue Holiday, can run the show.  IMO, Holiday has much more potential than Iggy.  Iguodala is the definition of a stat sheet stuffer, but I honestly think Holiday could be an Allstar in the future.  WIth Jrue finally getting to be the floor general, I can see this team getting the sixth seed in the East this year.

Hawes is far inferior to Bnyum, and Brown is a good depth signing.
