I'm sorry guys, I've been living in a cave the passed few weeks. Just wondering if Dwight signed an extension with the Lakers.

Not that I've heard, but then again...

Dwight won't sign an extension until next summer.

It's not in his financial interest to do so until then.

Not yet.

It makes no sense for Howard (much like Paul with the Clippers) to sign an extension.  He can make more from the Lakers next season.

If you're Howard and the Lakers don't win the title this season, do you really want to sign up long term with Nash and Kobe heading for retirement?

The Fakers will just go and get Chris Paul to play with him.

This league is fixed.

I think I would quit watching the NBA if that happened.

The league is fixed. Stern conspired to put together Allen, Garnett, and Pierce, so that the Celtics can win their 17th championship! Other team owners ordered their players to coast through games with the Cs in 08-09 so that the Cs can be fresh for the playoffs. It's the a conspiracy, I'm telling you!

I don't even know how this conspiracy could even take float(I believe slightly in a couple myself lol but this doesn't make any sense)... where do you guys think the Fakers will get the money to pay CP3? Where? Come on now! At least come up with conspiracies that have a bit of merit to them...
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I think it is more likely to see Gasol to Minnesota for Kevin Love, probably after Gasol's last good year.

no conspiracy...  but what is maddening for everybody *but Lakrer fans) is the average NBA fan can predict what players will go to the lakers, years befor they ever do. Not so much with other teams.

The top 25 players gravitate toward about 4-6 teams , and thus the NBA is really only made up of about 8 teams worth watching or who can impact the playoffs.

And the Lakers get the cream of the top 25 players every year. Especially bigs.

So yes...it is very predictable no conspiracy , BEFORE CP3 was on the Clippers , he would be ONE DAY on the Lakers. Once the Lakers decide they want a player ...thats it. ;D

Steve Nash is nothing but a stop gap , till Lakers can dump some contracts and get CP3 on the roster.

IF the Lakers don't win the banner THIS year , Howard still might run for the Nets.

So will KOBE stay  HEALTHY , FRIENDLY and WISE and suckup to his new teamates....or will he whine and  belittle them at every turn. ( like he does Pau) treat him like a little red-headed step child.?

With out a championship this year , I think Howard still runs for NY Nets.

Stern still has work to do to EVEN up the NBA.

Same place they got the money to pay Nash, Kobe, Artest, Jamison, Howard, Gasol, Meeks Blake and qhoever else is on that team - THEY HAVE A THREE BILLION DOLLAR TELEVISION DEAL!!!!

As to how they fit with the cap, they'll probably trade Artest and a box of Kobe's condoms.
