Is it only the East today? West tomorrow?

I thought both conferences were up today.

Both are up today.  I just got busy, and haven't had the chance to put up threads for the West yet.

Ah okay.

Sorry, I didn't mean to hassle (if it came across that way). Thanks.

Not at all.

Did the Knicks not even vote for themselves?

Nope.  I'm not impressed by the overall lack of participation in the playoffs.  17 voters in the East, 16 in the West.  Of those, 3 were non-participants.  That means 10 teams couldn't be bothered to vote in the Eastern playoffs, and 11 in the West.  Multiple GMs couldn't even bring themselves to vote for their own teams.  For those teams that did vote, we saw "strategic voting", such as GMs voting against every single one of the favorites in the West.

When people wonder why there's not going to be a draft in 2013, they can point to this stuff.

Wait so there wont be a draft in 2013? Even though im out i wil still vote :D

As constituted I didnt think they had what it takes to beat my team.

If they rolled out a team like

Rondo
Courtney Lee
Batum
Brandon Bass
Greg Monroe

I don't think I would have had a chance.
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Yea that is also a nice team and he could have made that team easily but i dont know why i just loved his team as it was a defensive team

Not sure I understand how everyone voted for Detorit. I guess its more a product of being up against Rebus and Lucky and them having the sexier name in CP3.

His year wasn't that bad he averaged 17 a game playing with the biggest ball hog Carmelo Anthony plus his brother died that would throw anyone of their game. Plus I think everyone was overlooking the way this team was ment to be used as which is everyone chipping in equally. This team wasn't ment to be led by just one guy but by multiple guys.

His TS% fell to .541, his FTA/FGA ratio dropped, and he showed that playing PF next to a traditional center really hurt his offensive game. Plus he was dinged up for much of the year.

Amar'e needs to be an elite offensive threat to make up for his rebounding and defensive woes, if he can't do that the he's no longer an elite player you can build around.

You just didn't have other high level offensive creators and your front court of McGee/Amar'e isn't one that can lead to a high level defensive squad.

Am I counting the votes right? Just 16 total votes? Come on guys? If you are a GM you gotta vote.

13 GMs voted in the Western playoffs.  11 didn't.
