You will not see Spurs or Thunder in Finals for a long time with the team the Lakers have. All they need now is a coach

Don't count the Thunder out.  They still match up well with LA, especially if Perry Jones develops over the course of the year.

Dwight will leave in the off-season.  Nash and Kobe will be hanging it up soon, and the Lakers will be left with a middle aged Pau Gasol and nothing else.  I ain't that worried about their next dynasty.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

If this rumored Howard deal happens, no one is beating the Lakers in the west. I guess the only question will be, do the Celts have enough to beat Miami and now Philly with the addition of Bynum there? I am SO SICK of this league. The lockout accomplished nothing.

I would be more concerned with the Sixers, than the Lakers. Seeing as how they play the same division. But then again, with Iggy now gone, Pierce should have more breathing room.

Magic should be saying "Why bother?" for next season.

Are they gonna be the worst NBA team of all time? Maybe. They get what they deserve for being one of the worst run sports organizations in the history of them.

Why bother?

For starters, the season hasn't started.

Second, we don't know how Dwight comes off that back surgery.

Third, while the Lakers have more talent, we have more depth, something that could come in handy come playoff time.

Fourth, the Lakers are in the West, and have to fight the Spurs and Thunder.  The only competition we have is the Heat.  I'm not saying it's nay easier, but it's one less team to worry about.  And I feel as if Danny built this year's roster so it could beat the Heat.

Finally, I bother because I'm a Celtics fan.  Heck, I'm a basketball fan.  I like watching the Celtics play basketball, especially in June.

I'd like to co-sign this message.

There is still a season to be played.  The Celtics team looks pretty strong too.  Enjoy the NBA season.

What is the "weakest" position on the Boston Celtics? Center. What is the strongest position now on the Philadelphia 76'ers and the LA Lakers, Center?

I am not saying why bother in terms of not liking the Celtics anymore or what Danny did in the offseason, I am saying why bother because it seems no matter what the Celtics do, it will never be good enough. And, how many times are the Lakers going to end up with a deal where they get the best end? I know they gave up Bynum, but this is a sweet deal for them.

Unless Nash breaks down, I see the Lakers in the finals next year. And, the Celts are going to have their hands full with a Philly team that features Bynum.

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA

Final Nets offer Orlando rejected in July: Lopez, Humphries (1 year, $9.6M), Brooks, 4 unprotected No. 1's for Howard, JRich, Duhon, Clark.

Really Orl... the deal you took is better than that? Get out of here! LOL

And I'm the bandwagon fan...

Don't tell me you guys are being "real" either. Every time I turn, some team is "suppose" to win it all and have an easy road, it's as if the games have already been played... it's as if the fakers a guaranteed health the entire season...

Why be fans if you don't believe in your team. I'd be rooting just as hard for the Bobcats if I was a fan. We aren't even nearly as close to being Bobcats bad! We have very good/great players, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!!! If it was a simple as assembling a bunch of great players, cHeat would be b2b champs this season... instead, they had to check some ego's (wade took a back seat) and brinda had to play out his mind (we still almost beat them, we 5 players and a bunch of duct tape)!!!

ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!! I am not giving up before we get knocked out! Let's go Celts!

Your comments may have been in response to my previous post, but I give u a TP anyway. Well said!  :)

for some reason Orlando did not want that man in Brooklyn. Am I the only one that thinks DH played them and landed exactly where he wants to be?

Andrew Bynum had problems with Mike Brown.  What do you think will happen with Doug "Helicoptering Mom" Collins?
