You know what's going to be weird?

With Ray probably not starting for the Heat, his big rematch game with the Celtics - where he will be the focus of 90% of pre-game attention and discussion - is going to start with him sitting on the bench doing nothing, while ten other guys play basketball.

It's not quite the triumphant return you think he'd want, playing against the team that "insulted" him so much by moving him to the bench...

yea its going to be wierd

until hes in the last minutes of the game and hits a three pointer in rondo's face

Maybe the Celtics are just a better team than the Heat this year, Ray realized with Jet and AB and Rondo healthy...he wasn't going to start....PERIOD.

So what  ::)...he can start for the Heat ,  but not the Celtics.

He is having trouble fading, getting old and admitting he isn't as fast or durable or good defensively as he once was.  Boo Hoo ...life sucks , then you die...

His ego is bigger than his BRAIN.

So Ray , if you are still such as stud as you think , how about manning up and meeting the challenge and winning your starting spot back, instead of sulking and running off with circus.... a childish , selfish act for a team that was willing to pay you more to stay and would have embraced your winning legacy .

Not DOC 's fault.... childish behavior on RAY ALLEN

[Edited.], how about Ray being injured, how is he going to regain his spot back?

And did he really lose it, he was playing well, pierce was eating donuts and Garnett was way out of shape

mean while ray was dropping 25 points on the lakers while Pierce was dropping 3-18 nights

i thought celtic fans saw both sides of the coin and not  only there side.

I think no one should be blame about ray leaving.
I do think Ray gives us the favor to find Jet-lee. If ray would have stayed I think we only got jet or lee on the line up worst case we got no one from the two.

We were getting JET either way... I don't think we go for Lee if Ray stays. Worse case scenario, we would only have JET (and someone on the cheap).
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

look, the celtics played alot better with bradley in the starting lineup. they were posting some REDICULOUS defensive numbers. and his young legs with rondo really gave them an infusion of youth.

ray off the bench and bradley starting was what was best for the TEAM...sadly ray couldnt see that and allowed his ego to get in the way

Really?  If you're going to call out posters for being biased, I suggest you stop brown-nosing Ray Allen.

Miami got Ray.  We got Jet and Lee.  Both teams benefitted.  I just don't see why people make such a big deal out of it.  Ray had his reasons for leaving.  Personally, I don't agree with said reasons, but if him leaving results in us getting Jason and Courtney, I'm all for it.

In what bizzaro world does this happen? The ball is going to either james or wade. bosh is undoubtedly the third option to dump it to in the post.

You really think spoelstra is gonna risk angering his stars and create a mutany to appease ray allen?

As i said before your level of Basketball knowledge belongs in South Beach. The white sand seems to be messing with your brain brah. Baby ray ray plays for the heat now. Please follow his lead.

i call out posters when they get there facts wrong.

Please stop viewing it as bias. Maybe a person with bias towards Allen can also offer some fair points unlike posters in here who see it one way. I see it both.

how do you know...

you act like Lebron has 0 respect for Allen

you act like Bosh and Wade dont know what ray can do.

Your the one bashing Lebron and Wade calling them divas etc.

All i know is there gonna get calls, and what I do now about Lebron is that he is unselfish. If he needs to pass it for a game winner to an open shooter your better believe it will be Ray Allen.
