Pierce lives in Los Angeles during the offseason.  That is where he spent most of his years growing up and that is where he will live when he retires. Boston is his home during the season.

I've been told by someone who used to work there that the biscuit dough is half butter and then they are basted with a ton of butter in the oven.

I have been to Red Lobster once in my life, and the biscuits have always tempted me to go back (if there were still any restaurants in New England).  I don't think Popeye's would ever have that kind of sway.

I hate seafood, except for shrimp. The only time I've had fish and liked it was in Monro. The place had fried catfish that was friggn great.

Never been to a Red Lobster in my life and hopefully never win.

Yes, I'm an absolute seafood snob and spoiled rotten from years of growing up in MA and then spending a multitude of time on the Cape.
