The green machine just benefits centers so much. Both the offensive and defensive systems are one of the best in the league. The personnel was amazing and just got better.

Most of all, egos are left in the locker room. These guys will do whatever it takes for a win (a point not mentioned much this year).

Raw offensively? Perk is offensively allergic but somehow managed 10 a game with the team.

Doesn't know the defensive system well enough? Semih looked lost half the time when he was here. I remember him as a net positive despite that.

Ryan Hollins got to play in the playoffs in games we won no less.

Having a big body is basically half the job. Staying healthy gets you extra points. Physically gifted? Yes please. Able to run the floor? Whoa!

Is 10-15 a game for Fab Melo that absurd? I think the only question is whether he has the heart. But even Glen Davis got to play center and his heart plays disappearing acts.

i think his minutes will depend on if he can pick up the defense. I think he spends some time in the D League

I think he will be ok in three years or so.  Intially, no, but I hope I am wrong.

I certainly hope he doesn't play 10-15 per game.  If he does that means we're very injured and things are not going well.  He's just not ready/polished enough to play on an NBA court yet, plain and simple.

If he gets over 500 total, it'll be a really good rookie season for him.

  • Green 18!
Stiemster was quite more NBA ready than Melo, and although many thought he should play more minutes, he didn't. So I think he won't get any time whatsoever, except in blowouts or with Maine.

melo is too raw right now to anticipate him getting more than garbage time minutes.  stiemsma was a block machine and still didn't get all that much play from doc.  so i would say its unlikely unless melo turns 'the switch' on midseason and really starts to get it.

Yes it is absurd...they disqualify you after your 6th foul.

  • Cool b/c i liked Rondo when he was behind Telfair
I dont see Fab ever averaging that amount. His expectations are solely defensive. I mean, all posts i have seen on him say "needs a lot of work" "big project" "very raw offensive game". Don't look for this guy to develop that much and look for him to be a 5th option when on the floor
Odds that i can dunk?

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Do you mean 10-15 fouls?

Easily.
